Once upon a time Narad Muni were about to start his journey to a beautiful princess's swyamvara. Then he thinks " What if I look most beautiful among all ". Thinking this he goes to Narayan, the father of whole universe, one and only Lord Vishnu.
" Hey Jagath Pita Narayan ! I'm going for a swyamvara and I wish to look the most beautiful among all. Please make me look good" he requested, to which Lord Vishnu replied that " I'll do that which is good for you and all ". Saying that he converted Narad Muni's face to a Vanar.
Unknowingly not seeing his face Narad Muni went like that. In the swyamvara everybody present there laughed at him. That princess went with the varmala and chose another man. That princess was no one else but Mata Laxmi and its obvious that man whom she chose was Lord Vishnu.
Whatever happened after Narad Muni gave shraap to Lord Vishnu in anger that time will come when Lord Vishnu had to suffer Patni Vyog like Narad Muni and he had to live between Vanars.
That was the reason why in Ramayana Shree Ram had to suffer Devi Sita's Vyog ( he had to stay away from Mata Sita ) and had to stay with Vanar sena.
