Watching the woman leave Chloe smiled in victory , 'tsk that's what you get for provoking me' she thought while smirking

Seeing her smug look Leo just smiled and tapped her shoulder, when Chloe looked at him did she noticed how close they were.

Chloe blushed and immediately let go of Leo's arm and moved away.

"I didn't know the only daughter of Lance company actually has a strange hobby" Leo said while returning to his seat

"Well you can say it's fun for me seeing women who underestimate me to suffer especially if they don't acknowledge my presence, in her case  she choose to provoke me first, it's not my fault."

Leo's smile grew wider, and he was very pleased in Chloe's attitude, he liked this kind of women who knows when to fight back and have  confidence.

"Now U know I like it this much, make sure to call me when she's around I would gladly help you get rid of her easily"

"haha alright I'll remember that, also we should finish eating"

"Yeah let's, I have an appointment later "

"What a coincidence me too"

After eating the two said their goodbyes and separated ways.

Chloe arrived Infront of the Star Industry and gracefully walked to the front desk

She tapped the table and the lady in the front desk smiled.

"I have an appointment with your CEO"

"Are you Miss Lance?"

Chloe just responded with a nod

"I see, Miss Lance please come this way"

the woman lead her to the elevator and pressed to the top floor, when the elevator was about to be closed a hand reached out and stopped it

"Whoops, almost missed" when Chloe heard a familiar voice she looked at the man

The man also stared back and went in with a smile

Chloe just raised her brows and folded her arms

"Didn't know that we have the same destination"

"If I had known I wouldn't have joined your ride"

Leo chucked

"Well... My apologies"

"Apology accepted"

Ting!

"We've arrived ma'am please come this way"

"Ohh Riza you can go now, ill handle this"

The clerk looked at Leo and then nodded before leaving

Chloe raised her brows and stared at Leo , Leo just shrugged and asked her to follow him.

Moments later Chloe found herself inside a large elegant office which she assumed as the CEO's office. She gazed back at Leo wanting to ask a question when she saw him sit casually in the sofa.

"Well then Miss Chloe how about we start discussing about the contract"
He said smiling

Chloe frowned but still sat down infront of him.

"Before that, would you mind explaining something first"
She said seemingly upset, Leo noticing her mood chuckled nervously

"Well...ehem let me reintroduced myself, my full name is Leo Verlice"

"Leo Verlice...where have I heard that name before" Chloe stared at Leo wanting to find out why she feels familiar

"Ahhh wait...that's right!you look familiar because I saw you in Sebastian's old photos!!"

"Well were childhood friends Afterall"

Chloe was shocked and stared at him in disbelief; finding her reaction amusing Leo showed her photos of Sebastian and him in highschool.

"This was when we were in a school trip"
Looking at the photos Chloe's eyes glowed

"Wait can U send all that picture to me"she said with excitement

"Well of course"

After sending her the photos, Chloe couldn't help showing a satisfied expression.
"So are you satisfied now" Leo asked with a smile

"Very!!!"

"Then how about we get back to business"

Hearing this Chloe's cheeks turned red in embarrassment thinking about her attitude just a while ago

"Ehem I'll show you first the photos of our sample clothes and you can decide if it suits your taste"

After signing the contract Chloe stayed for a while chatting with Leo and then left to prepare the designs and materials.

Arriving home after work, she was greeted by the butler
"Miss, your father wants to see you"

Chloe was stunned, surprised that her father came home

"I see" she said and dismissed the butler ,she walked to the second floor to the study room

She hesitated and said to herself'remember dont expect anything'

Before opening the door, inside she saw her father sitting in the sofa with cigarettes in his hand

"Father you called?"
The man stared at her with cold eyes and throws her an envelope

"This is an invitation to Madam Verlice's Birthday party make sure to clear your schedule and attend on my behalf " he said not even bothering to look at her

Chloe looked at the invitation and saw a familiar name 'Verlice?'

"Make sure to not do anything stupid and stain our reputation"

"Yes, father" Chloe responded with a smile

Then she left with the invitation and went to her room.

After eating and washing up she lay in her bed dazed 'what did I expect ?'she closed her eyes 'after all this years why do I always expect something from him'

Chloe Sighed then she forced herself to sleep

'whatever let's get some sleep for now'
