I was not a happy camper. Roronoa-San had wandered off, making me think back to Sanji's warning.
'Well, he was right.'
"Roronoa-San! Roronoa-San!" I called.
My calls were soft, so it was probable that he didn't hear. I wasn't going to scream into a huge forest infested with dinosaurs for a man who obviously didn't trust me, despite his oh-so-heartfelt speech not 10 minutes ago.
It was like he vanished. Just *poof!* and he was gone. Funny how that worked. Maybe he could teleport. Next time I see him, I'm going to ask him for a penguin. He could *poof* to the North Blue and bring me a penguin and a polar bear from my home island. Then I'd ask him to teleport me to the sky, then I would drop him into the ocean and he would drown and the kind sharks would have a nice ol' Marimo Nugget to snack on.
Why? Oh, I don't know. Maybe because he LEFT me in a JUNGLE where DINOSAURS are running wild, giant GORILLAS are trying to PERV on me, and he gave such a nice speech and left me ALONE!!!!!!!!
Oh, don't mind my sadistic ramblings, I'm not crazy, I assure you.
I found a big green leaf and imagined it as Roronoa-San, tearing it into little bits. The bits fell onto the grass, making me sigh. I was acting so childish. This crew had transformed the silent, uncaring girl into someone who outwardly spoke of her secrets, someone who giggled and laughed, someone who cared about people she had only known for less than two days. The unbreakable mask she had put up so many years ago was finally cracking. The leaf pieces represented her mask. But the only things holding her back were the two iron clamps on her mouth known as 'hands.' Guarding her voice, her power. Restraining it and greedily keeping it to himself.
"To be free..." I mumbled half-heartedly. "Well, that's just rich."
A growl erupted from the trees, making me jump. Was it another dinosaur? The memories of why had happened to me because of a dinosaur weren't fun. Two glittering eyes shone in the shadows.
"There's no need in trying to kill me," I sighed. "Just come out already."
My voice was tired but kind. I huge saber toothed tiger tramped out, sitting in front of me. He had a rather large lump on his head, making me grimace.
"Oh, you poor darling," I cooed, standing up and hugging it's head. "Did one of the men do this to you? I'm sorry."
He nuzzled into my neck, large fangs brushing against my head and shoulder. He was warm. And right now, I needed warm. Sure, it was hot, but I was freezing and the sunlight just seemed to radiate cold, and every gust of wind was my enemy. And I liked body heat, anyway. Physical contact was kind of important to me, as long as it didn't have any ill intent.
I climbed on his back, laying down on my stomach to curl up in his fur.
"So warm..." I mumbled.
And then he started moving. Which was fine with me, seeing as he probably wouldn't leave the island. I didn't exactly think he'd eat me, either.
My eyelids began to wobble shut, and it took an immeasurable amount of effort to keep them open for five seconds. and I was asleep. Just like that. Funny how some things work.
When I awoke, the huge cat was shivering. I looked up easily, my eyelids no longer dropping. Recognizing Mr. 3's (A.K.A. Mr. Gay-Waxyman) trademark of wax. It was a cube-esque house thing.
I gritted my teeth. If Gay-Waxyman was here, that meant that Little Goldy was here too. (Little Goldy=Miss Goldenweek) And if they saw me, it would be all over. Unless I took them out, because I could totally do that. And if I knew Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine (Explodey-Boogerman and Slut-on-Drugs), they would chase the Straw Hats here. Not good. Not good at all. I watched the house, seeing Sanji approaching it.
