As Taehyung sat with the ajumma, sharing memories of his mother, a question nagged at him. "Umm, can I ask you something?" he ventured, his voice uncertain. The aunt nodded kindly, encouraging him to speak his mind.
"Where is Eun?" Taehyung asked, curiosity evident in his tone.
The aunt's expression softened, a hint of nostalgia flickering in her eyes. "She's still at that mansion, working there. She's 20 now. Didn't you see her?"
Taehyung's brows furrowed in confusion. "There's no one named Eun," he replied, his mind racing to make sense of the information.
The aunt chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Her name is Eunha," she clarified gently.
"Eunha?" Taehyung repeated, his eyes widening in realization. Suddenly, a flood of memories rushed back to him, and he couldn't help but cough in surprise, nearly choking on his food.
"Eunha," he muttered, the name rolling off his tongue with newfound significance.
The aunt nodded in confirmation, observing Taehyung's reaction with curiosity. She could sense that something had stirred within him, sparking a cascade of memories and emotions.
Taehyung's mind raced as he processed the revelation. Eunha, the same woman who had kicked him in the park, was now an integral part of his life once again. It was a twist of fate he hadn't seen coming.
A soft chuckle escaped Taehyung's lips as he slowly regained his composure. "I have to go," he announced suddenly, pushing his chair back from the table.
The aunt looked taken aback by his sudden departure. "Suddenly?" she questioned, her voice tinged with surprise.
Taehyung offered her an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, aunt, but I have to," he explained, his tone filled with a sense of urgency. "Thank you for everything."
The aunt nodded understandingly, her eyes reflecting warmth and understanding. "You're welcome, Taehyung," she replied softly, bidding him farewell as he left.
Exiting the house, Taehyung felt a mixture of emotions swirling within him. The unexpected revelation about Eunha had left him reeling, but he knew he had to confront it head-on.
As he made his way back to the mansion, Taehyung's mind was consumed by thoughts of Eunha. He couldn't shake the feeling that their paths were destined to cross once again, and he was determined to uncover the truth behind their connection.
Taehyung drove with a sense of anticipation coursing through his veins. Thoughts of Eunha filled his mind, a mix of excitement and apprehension swirling within him. "She was there," he muttered to himself, a smile playing on his lips. "But she was annoying," he added, his voice tinged with amusement.
Suddenly, his phone rang, jolting him out of his reverie. Taehyung connected to the Bluetooth and answered, "Hey, Jimin."
Jimin's voice came through the speakers, filled with anticipation. "Work is done. Tomorrow's the big day—you'll be the new CEO. Are you ready?"
A surge of confidence washed over Taehyung as he replied, "I'm ready." With a quick goodbye, he ended the call, his mind already racing ahead to the challenges that awaited him.
Arriving at his company, Taehyung prepared himself for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, Eunha also made her way to the company, eager to seize the opportunity Taehyung had offered her.
