Chapter 7: Long drive

Zorawar's pov

After sometime the environment of the house was back to normal.

Sadia and others left for their college. I was about to leave for office but my abbu called me to his room.

The events of last night was recalling in my mind making me lose my calm. But I made my self calm and went to his room

He gestered me to sit

After sometime he broke the silence and said

"Tum samiya se nikah karonge. Aur yeh meri aakhri faisla hai. Agar tum Chaho toh Sadia ko bhi apne nikah mai rakho. Par nikah tumhara samiya se hokar rahenge"

I was fuming in anger. But I wanted to know the reason. In cold voice i asked

"Wajah ?"

He said

"Tumhare dada Jaan ne gaao wali zameen tumhari phoppho ke naam kardi hai. Aur hame us zameen ke kaagzaat chaiye. Us ne shart yahi rakhi hai"

That was the last straw

I got up with a jerk

"Waah abbu toh yeh sab aap paise ke liye kar rahe hai. Bataye mujhe aapko kitne paise chaiye. Mai aapko uska double amount dunga. Par aainda aise baat mere yaa meri biwi ke baare Mai mai nhi sunuga."

I was about to leave but he said

"Agar tum yeh nahi karonge toh samaj Lena tumhara baap tumhare liye mar gaya "

"Dekhte hai tum apni biwi aur baap mai se kis ko chunte ho"

I was shocked. Never in my life i imagined my father can stoop so low.
With my anger I left from there.
As I stepped out of the room I saw Sadia standing there.

Sadia' s pov

I heard everything. How can Taya abbu give zorawar that choice. What if zorawar agrees to get married. Am I that bad. Why is all this happening. I was in my thoughts. Zorawar came out and took long strides towards me

He engulfed me in a hug and said

"Meri Jaan aap itni jaldi aagaye college se. Tabyet toh theek hai naa? Kuch hua hai? Bataye mujhe"

I said
"Hmmm I want to go on a long drive with you"

He said

"Bas itni si baat. Aate hai ham car ki keys leke"

After sometime we were sitting in the car. I told him to take me to our farmhouse which was 2hrs from khan villa.

As we reached he took me inside

He said

"Aap fresh hojaye mai kuch mangwa leta hu khane ke liye "

But i interrupted him

"Nahi zorawar. Mujhe bahar ka khana nhi khana"

He came towards mai and whispered in my ear

"Theek hai jaan. Aaj aapke shohar aapke liye khana banayenge"

I was shocked I asked him

"Aapko khana banana aata hai?"

He chuckled and said

"Aapke liye toh ham kuch bhi kar sakte hai. Khana banana toh mamuli si baat hai!"

I was shocked again. This man makes me feel overwhelmed just by his words!

I came to one of the room. Words of Taya abbu were ringing continuously in my mind. I was thinking continuously

After sometime

I shrugged off and went to fresh up
