I. Escaped

I've been staring at the stars for so long i didn't even realize that the sun is already rising. I haven't slept at all, I was too busy observing the beauty of the stars above. I took another quick glance at the night sky and sighed as I fixed my coat and headed back to my room.

Madalas akong tumatambay sa may bintana ko simula nung napagaralan ko na ang tungkol sa mga bituin na ito. Malakas ang paniniwala ng kaharian ng pamilya ko tungkol dito. Ever since they learned how to get information about future possibilities, they haven't stopped. Tulad ng mga tinatawag namin na Gaia enchantress, they can predict the future and they use their powers for the greater good.

Nahiga ako sa kama at tumitig sa kisame. Napaisip ako bigla kung ano pa ba ang mga hindi natutuklasan sa mundong 'ito?

I have a sister but she already has a family and married a guy from a different kingdom and she can go wherever she want. Well now that she's married she also have more responsibilities.

I've been stuck in this kingdom ever since I was born. Iisang beses pa lang ako nakapunta sa ibang kaharian dahil lamang sa kaibigan ko. I only attended a gathering once and I was with my family and our guards. I had never got out alone once in my life. My parents won't let me go out alone even in our kingdom. I want to see what the world will offer me but they just won't let me.

Ayoko rin namang maghintay na kung kailan lang ako magkakapamilya at tsaka ako makakapaglakbay mag-isa. I don't even plan about marrying some guy and have a family just like my sister. I'm not interested at those things, I'd rather focus on myself and this world, Fantasia.

Huminga uli ako nang malalim at tumayo. Wala nanaman akong tulog kakaisip, lagot nanaman ako mamaya pag napansin nilang inaantok ako at wala sa wisyo.

Habang inaayos ko sarili ko biglang may kumatok sa pintuan ko, nilapitan ko ito at binuksan.

"Your highness, pinapatawag na po kayo ng Reyna" the butler bowed and smiled at me.

"Sige po, papunta na po ako" I smiled back and closed the door.

I wonder why they're looking for me at this hour. I looked at the clock and saw that it's still very early in the morning. What's the commotion?

Paglabas ko ng kuwarto ko, nakita ko ang mga guard at butlers namin. They bowed at me and I bowed back.

"Kumain na po ba kayo?" I asked and they all nodded. I smiled back as a response. Some of them had been working for us since I was little. I looked up to them the most because of how hardworking they are. I wonder if where they come from and have they traveled far? Hindi ko pa natatanong sa kanila dahil lagi akong pinangungunahan ng hiya at kaba.

As soon as I arrived at the dining area I was surprised when I saw my best friend, Victoria and her family in our dining area. Victoria ran towards me as soon as she saw me and hugged me tight.

"Astraaa, why are you so bagal?" She said and pouted. I nervously laughed as I pinched her cheeks.

Victoria is a year younger than me, and we've been best friends since we were kids. She's my closest friend around because she's always by my side. Victoria came from the Fairy Kingdom and she is also a princess, so technically she is a fairy princess. She's so cool right?

"Sorry, I had to do something earlier" I replied and scratched the back of my head.

"Eh? This early?" Victoria asked.

"Astra, have you been sleeping late again?" my Mother asked me.

"Uhh no?" I lied as my Mom just shook her head. Napalunok na lang ako dahil naramdaman kong alam ni Mon na hindi totoo ang sinasabi ko.
