Who is Jiyeong?

Sunghoon pov

Sunghoon's heart continues to beat faster as he stands in front of the door. He starts to contemplate if he should even be here right now. But he needs answers, and he doesn't know where else to turn to for answers.

Sunghoon prepares himself, and knocks on the door.

The door opens, and Sunghoon sees an all too familiar face.

"Sunghoon, what are you doing here?", the person asks him "Jun, I think you know why I'm here." Sunghoon answers sarcastically

Jun let's out a sigh as he opens the door. "He's upstairs in his room."

Sunghoon rushes past Jun, and runs up the stairs. As he approaches the door, he thinks of how to approach this situation. He takes a quick breath and opens the door.

He opens the door, and what he sees shocks him. Jay is laying in the middle of the floor, crying and holding a Pikachu plushie. He opens the door more to walk in, and the creaking of the door has Jay looking over at him.

"Why are you here?" Jay asks as he sits up. "We need to have a serious talk about what you're doing." Sunghoon answers, as he sits down in front of Jay.

"Jay, you need to tell Jungwon the truth." He's say as he picks up a Polaroid off the ground

It's a picture of him, we'll Jiyeong actually, and Jungwon at a arcade, clearly on a date. Jay is holding the Pikachu plushie that he's currently crying into.

"What would I even tell him? That I've been lying to him about who I really am?" Jay answers Sunghoon bitterly.

As much as Sunghoon feels angry at Jay, he does feel some sympathy for him. It's hard for him not to when they've know each other since they were in elementary.

"Jay, I understand you're scared. But Jungwon's falling fast, and he thinks he knows Jiyeong. But he knows nothing about who Jiyeong actually is at all Jay."

"I know I need to tell him, but I'm scared. He'll probably never want to talk to me again. I doubt anyone in the groupchat would wanna interact with me either." Jay says solemnly, resting his head against his Pikachu plushie.

Sunghoon sits on the ground in front of Jay, carefully lifting his head up. "Jay, I promise you no one will be mad at you. They're just sad because they think you're ignoring them for no reason." Sunghoon says, as he brushes Jay's hair out of his face.

"Now come on, we need to get you out of this house."

Ni_kikiki: Why would he do that?

SunshineSunoo: That doesn't sound like something he'd do with no reason

Wonnie: Jake definitely did something

Golden_Jake: I didn't do anything!

Bambi_Hee: I'm fully convinced you're delusional

Wonnie: When does he not send Sunghoon something weird?

Golden_Jake: All I did was ask him a question 😞

Ni_kikiki: What was the question?

Golden_Jake: I asked him about this girl that's in some of his insta pics

Bambi_Hee: Okay thats weird

SunshineSunoo: Why would he block you over that?

Ni_kikiki: Doesn't seem like something he should be blocking you over 🤔

Golden_Jake: I'm just confused, idk why it would cause him to block me

Wonnie: I know who the girl in his picture is

SunshineSunoo: Really!?

Golden_Jake: Who is she?

Wonnie: She's Jiyeong

Ni_kikiki: As in your Jiyeong?

Bambi_Hee: Why would he block Jake then?

SunshineSunoo: This isn't making sense

Golden_Jake: We know who Jiyeong is, so why would he block me over that question?

Wonnie: Idk, plus why wouldn't Sunghoon mention he knows her to me

Bambi_Hee: All of this just isn't making sense

Ni_kikiki: Wait, so Sunghoon knows Jungwon's girlfriend. And he blocked Jake when he started asking questions about her?

Golden_Jake: Yep

SunshineSunoo: I don't wanna sound like a pessimist, but what if something is going on between them?

Wonnie: Are you insinuating that my girlfriend is cheating on me...

Ni_kikiki: I mean, why else would Sunghoon block Jake once he started asking about her?

Bambi_Hee: Now I say, you all go the fuck to bed instead of thinking of theories of why he blocked Jake

Golden_Jake: I agree, speculating isn't gonna do us any good in trying to understand

SunshineSunoo: I guess you're right

Bambi_Hee: Now all of you guys go to sleep, it's getting late

We finally found out who Jiyeong is! Even though I'm pretty sure it was obvious who it was

There are still a lot of things to be uncovered about each person in the groupchat, and since we're almost done with the Jiyeong arc we're moving onto the next one.

Who do you guys think the next arc is gonna focus on? Hint, it's not anyone in the maknae line
