The story is simple
Thi euta kti
There is a girl
Afnai sansar ma ramauni
Who is happy in her small world
Khusi ko bahar cha pida ma pani
Happiness overflows in sadness too
Kati ramailo usko zindagani
Oh how fun is her life
Pana pachi pana bhariyo
Pages after pages are filled in
Usko bayan garna khojda
Trying to write about her
Sunaudai chu sab lai

Choto kabita ma
In a short poem of mine
Sani chori gyani che
Small girl she is kind
Maan ma usko hariyali cha
Her heart is filled with greenery
Musukka hasda raat pani ujyalo hune
Even the night seems brighter when she smiles
Kati ramro usko chala
Oh how elegant is she
Garxa sab lai samman ra prem
Everyone loves and respects her
Chaina kei khot usko najar ma
There is no flaws in her eyes
Sabai ko khusi chahanxha
Wants everyone to be happy
Kati nyano usko bhawana
How how warm is she
Aile uh thuli vaisaki
Now she is all grown up
Jhanai fijiyo usko katha
Her story running around like wildfire
Sabai ramaune uh sanga huda
Everyone loves her company
Kati pyari jun dharti ma
Oh beautiful moon on earth
Ama dd baini buhari
Mother, sister and someone's wife
Kati dherai roop usko
So many faces she has
Badhiye unko angalo ma
When you hug her
Sara shristi mahasos huncha
You can feel the universe itself
