Insane is what I am always called when I share my thoughts. They are unexplainable ideas that will occur out of nowhere that stick with me for days, week, and maybe even months. Daydreaming is a state where you kind of vanish from the real world for a moment into a different one, or your vision is just a blur and you can't refocus. The point is that it's normal it happens to everybody, but with me I have a different sort of daydream. I doubt my own existence all the time, and spend an crazy amount of time just thinking if anything is actually what I think it is. I know I am not crazy for all we know we could be in some laboratory being tested with some new highly realistic life game. Which yes that's kind of dark and kind of unlikely, but I am here to uncover the truth to this world.
Being born in a small town didn't quite suit my on going imagination and taste for adventure. It diluted it into something I hate to think back on. The town was in Texas with a population of around seven hundred fourth something, plus. It seemed to be a town where the most desperate of people would go. There were murders almost every week, the teachers never went to collage and had to just use dusty old books they found in gods knows where, I had to have home clothes which were always over alls that would be way too big, and of course your lovely parents never gave even one fuck about you. Mine were pretty decent, could of been better. The point is my childhood was pretty shitty, but there's one thing I learned as a child that wasn't shitty. Now since I lived in a crappy town with the worst of well everything all I had to do was think. Sometimes I would spend hours just thinking, then sometimes I would fall asleep seeing myself in a lab being tested on like me being asleep was actually waking up. Let's go away from craziness for one moment and tell you who I am for a moment. My name is Lucas Collins, I have short brown hair, shockingly bright blue eyes, one dimple on the right side of my cheek, and I am pretty built. I am twenty two years old and I live in a apartment in New York. I just finished collage, and now I want a career in video game molding which is something I've always wanted to do. Making a game of anything you want, and then actually being able to play it and have thousands of others play it is just amazing to me. I hear a knock at my door that suddenly throws me back into reality. I get up from bed and walk to the front door of my apartment.
I open the door and see my friend Nikki standing there. Nikki is a friend of mine from middle school and we've been best friends since. She's my same age has me of twenty two and has long blonde hair, hazel eyes, she's surprisingly built for knowing how much she loves her chocolate, she's wearing a pink hoodie with light blue jeans, and some vans. She suddenly realizes I opened the door and smiles at me. "Hey, Lucas I just wanted to stop by to see how you been. It's been awhile," she said.
I give her a smile. "Well, glad you've come back after all this you peanut," I playfully punched her.
"Oh, come on dude how many years are you gonna call me that?" She laughed as I lead her inside, then closed the door behind her.
"Until I come up with a better name," I stated as we both sat next to each other on my couch.
"Of course, of course," she laughed. "How's life been for my best friend Lucas?"
"Pretty good, I mean I've already told you how I've finished collage, and pretty soon I'm gonna try and find a good place to do the career I want."
"That's still video game designing correct?" She asked me as she crossed her legs.
I nodded. "I've gotten some pretty good offers, but I don't know the type of stuff I want to make no one is interested in. At least what most places will tell me."
"Which is ridiculous because you've always told me are your crazy thoughts and those would be awesome ideas for video games you know?"
"You'd think they see that, but I'm going to try a more well known video game company to see if they can see what my ideas could do for them," I said this almost forgetting to breath.
"What company you thinking of?" She questioned.
"Codewalla," I answered.
Nikki started to get all excited. "I've heard that's awesome! I'm sure they'll take you for sure."
"Me too thanks that means a lot Nikki. So what have you been up to, ladies first," I grinned.
