Just Another Poem

Like the wind I let you carry my soul,
I gave you my trust and you just let me fall.
How the nights seemed peaceful without you,
Before I knew of your existence and what you were able to do.

How pathetic I seemed to become,
But everything I feared had been said and done.
You left me alone to rot in dispair.
But why did you? I thought you really did care.

I guess it was only a lie.
Tell me, how many times did you laugh when you made me cry?
Or how many rumors did you spread?
One? Two? Have millions been said?

I can't go further on like this with all the "why's."
It hurts to say goodbye but it's all I can do,
To keep me away from all the lies
And far away from you,

I hate you.
