Chapter 2: Final Exam

A week after last chapter. Boruto stands outside the gate of the village with Sarada, Sanada, Saruto, and Kaede. Boruto puts on his cloak and yawns

Sarada: You promise to be safe?

Boruto: Yes I promise to be safe.

Kaede: Promise not to eat anything good without me?

Boruto: I make no promises with that.

Saruto and Sanada: Promise to teach us the Rasengan when you get back?

Boruto: It depends on if you guys are genin. You're graduation is next week right?

Sanada: Yeah, they're taking us to the old chunin exam forest from grandpas days.

Boruto: Hmph, have fun with that, I didn't definitely didn't.

Saruto: What's that supposed to mean?

Sarada: Oh ignore him, he's being dramatic. See you when you get back.

Kaede: Later Dad.

Boruro nods and starts walking away

Sarada: Now you two, get to the academy before you're late.

Saruto and Sanada: Yes Mom.

They start walking in the opposite direction towards the village

Kaede: So exactly how did your Genin exam go?

Sarada: Tiring. Very tiring.

Kaede: You're kidding right?

Sarada: I wish I was.

Kaede: Any chance I can participate in their exam? Ya know to show what type of shinobi they may encounter on missions?

Sarada: Absolutely not. I have someone else in mind who will be participating with a few of the other teachers.

Kaede: And that is?

Sarada: Let's just he's a slippery fighter.

Kaede: Oh come on, why does he get to have the fun?

Sarada: To properly test everyone.

Kaede: You may want to send Medical Ninja to the test area for the big day.

Sarada: Oh I plan on it. Now aren't you supposed to be meeting up with your friends for a mission soon?

Kaede: Huh? Wait what mission?

Sarada: The one I reminded you about last night before dinner.

Kaede: Crap! Later!

Kaede runs off into the village

Sarada: Like father like daugher.

*At the academy*

Saruto and Sanada walk up the wall of the building to the window of their classroom, Sanada places his palm on the window by the back seats of the room and slowly pushes it open

Saruto: Careful genius. If Sensei Cho sees us trying to sneak in like this we're dead.

Sanada: Would you shut up.

The window opens fully and two large hands grab Saruto and Sanada, bringing them inside. Cho-Cho looks at them both with a grin and a slight glare

Cho-Cho: You're both ten minutes late you know that right?

Sanada and Saruto: Sorry ma'am.

Cho-Cho sits them down at their seats and the rest of the class laughs quietly at them, then returning to the front of the room
