A loud groan could be heard from the Watterson house.
Darwin: Anais? Was that you? What's wrong?
Anais: I can't come up with any ideas for my next invention!
Darwin: Have you tried searching online?
Anais: Of course I have! I've tried everything! Elmore Plus, the library, the store, everything!
Darwin: That is tough. Hmmm... have you tried the park?
Anais: I considered going there, but it's so far away!
Darwin: That's because of your short legs. Anyway, it's pretty early. I'm sure we can go to the park and make it back by dinner. What do you say?
Anais: Well, if it gives me an idea, then sure.
Darwin: Okay, let's go!
The fish and pink rabbit exit the room. Richard and Gumball see Darwin and Anais leaving.
Richard: Now where are you two going?
Darwin: We're headed to the park! Don't worry; we won't be long!
Gumball: Dude, you know I gotta come, too!
Anais: *in a hushed voice* What do you think, should we bring him?
Darwin: Shouldn't hurt. Come on, Gumball!
Gumball: Great!
Richard: Make sure you're back before dinner, kids!
Gumball, Darwin, and Anais: We know!
Darwin: Love you, Mr. Dad! Bye!
The three leave.
Nicole: Where are they headed off to?
Richard: The park.
Nicole: *panicked* Didn't they build a highway near there? What if they go on the road?! Oh, Richard, you have to follow them!
Richard: Calm down, Nicole. Gumball will protect them. Besides, they're smart. They'll be okay.
Nicole: *calming down* Okay... I'll calm down. I just hope they come back home unscathed.
