As the golden rays of dawn kissed the earth, Mallika stood before the mirror, her reflection adorned in the resplendent attire of a bride-to-be. Yet, through tear-filled eyes, she repeated her plea for him to leave, her heart breaking with each syllable.With a heavy heart, Sumedh turned to leave, his footsteps echoing in the silence of the room.
