day 12. Making a schedule

  It was about the crack of dawn when I opened my eyes to Nox trying to wake me. "wake up Ciaran its time to start your first day of training" and I turned over I didnt sleep well the night before, and my sleep at the last half of the night was what got me rest, which sadly was when the sun rose, I blinked and opened my eyes and looked into the bedroom, and it occurred to me that I was going to get educated today "homeschool, for sorcerers" and Nox nodded from within the mirror vanity in my room and said "Indeed lets get started" and soon as I got up I started the day with a first matra which got me in the right mindset and then I got dressed in a black or dark blue tshirt and that cloak that I got from cleo and jeans I then internally began to create a schedule; I dropped the books back on my bed, after making it and began working out I hit the hard wood floor and first hit my pushups(8:00), in the time that I was out and about I was not staying in shape even though I had internal strength I went from doing 45 pushups to 30 to 25 now 15 max on my pushups and that was unacceptable, then I jumped to crunches and I did about 100 of those naturally I was good at those, then squats which frankly I was feeling like I could skip, but Nox wouldnt let me told me to not get lazy so I did them about 25 before I got bored I could do these forever, it was used to built up my upper body strength. (9:00) then I Ieft the room and walked through the hallway where I smelled food where we were offered food like this time was ham and eggs on a paper plate guess no one wanted to do dishes, I went to eat in the living room with the house, along with ruby, roxy, ralph and Neo, and the others of the house was standing again because neo was sitting next to the others I didnt know what I did I hope neo will get to know me I then looked up as cleo and judas walked down the stairs and both gave me an acknowledged look and when I sat at the chair someone covered my eyes and and said guess who" and I tried ton think "Idont know Im afraid to guess right is it roxy?" and I heard "no Im at the couch" and they laughed and I said "um..is it ralph?" and again he popped up "no still at the couch" and I said "uhhh huh um I dont know I give up" and ruby poked me and said how could you not tell it was me?" then I blinked "because I sucked at guessing?" and She pouted "thats for sure," and took up a piece of ham and handed it to her'peace offering? Im sorry" she smirked and took a bite and smirked "apology accepted" now by the time I was on my way back, I was in a good mood. (10:00) then I hit my first book on element magic.I walked over, turned off my light, locked my door and climbed on my bed and closed my eyes and opened both my mind, hands, and heart and took abreath and caused called "erif" and a ball of fire sparked in the middle of my hand and held it in my hand and moved around the orb of fire in my hand and breathed and when I opened my hand more it generally got bigger and when I closed my distance in my hand it got smaller. And I tooka breath "breathe, hold it dont drop it" I heard Nox say and I nodded, b reathing "Im just trying to hold onto it..slowly without it going out." and I nodded and breathed now count and I nodded "1 second 2 second 3 second 4 second 5 second 7 second" and it went out and I sighed in the dark again and I nodded" theres onlya few times you been able to practice but you ve been able to use spells without problems so far" and I nodded "im Talented not skilled" and I looked at the clock you just started Ciaran why are you looking at the clock?" and I nodded "just keeping an eye on it," and Nox nodded "lets keep going" and I nodded and walked over to the light and flicked it on and alked back to the bedand and pointed my hand close to my body and chanted "Drahs" and an orb of energy formed in the middle of my hand and as I focused on them gowing cold and I focused on them in my mind and ade it as cold as possible causing the orb to freeze as it crackled and turned ito frozen and I throw it forward and it shattered against the wall without making much noise as soon as it landed on the ground in pieces it slowly vanished, and again I closed my eyes and formed the orb again and and again it froze as energy and i held it "1 second....2 second....3..... 4...mold it form an orb around my hand feel the heat and turn it south, turn it cold, colder colder colder ice wind icebergs, snow think of the cold" and then I heard it the freezing of the orb, crackling thats when I opened my eyes and the orb froze again and I threw it and shattered into ice crystals on the floor that eventually turned into water that got absorbed intot the floor and I nodded and nox looked at me from the mirror "your getting better at the Drahs spell, its been a while since Ive seen you use that ice spell and youve done it twice with such skill" and I nodded "yes but using it like this and using it on the battlefield is different when Im..I mean we're on the battlefield the spells we use are heightened by our attack pattterns, adrenaline, stress, emotion" and he grumbled slightly and I nodded "but yes you are correct, I can do these level 1 spells in my sleep because they are novice spells but something I remember before I started get the basics down till I can do it in my sleep I can do them eating, till they are next breathing....IM not there yet" I said throwing a crystal at the door as it opened and Cleo opped in "hey Caleb are you shit" And she held up her hand and created a shield that bounced off the blue orb and it crashed to the floor and shattered and she she growled "I see your practicing again,in your room" and I nodded "yes Cleo what is it?" and she nodded "I came to remind you that we are to meet at the octagon for one on one training judas gave me an assignment to get you in fighting shape and I hate to disappoint him" she said this was clear playful sarcasm solidified by her sticking her tongue at me and grabbing her left eyelid and I nodded, ignoring her attempts at baiting me "I'll see you in abit" and she put her hands on her hips "why not now? Why cant I just watch you train? Your cute when your work" and I formed an orb with my energy and cried out "Tlob" and a charge of electrical energy formed into my hand arm body and I directed them at her with a "OUT!!" I threw a white bolt of lightning at her and she dodged it and was out of hte room instantly laughing "you missed missed me now you gotta kiss me" and I shook my head and looked at the door that took the punishment and I growled "thank god I didnt hit my lightswitch I might bring down the power in the house" and I shook my head then looked at the clock and I haf fifteen minutes left of my elemental training" and I looked over at the vanity and Nox was shaking hs head also "she likes you its obvious" and I nodded "clearly Im not dense, I think we're good for now on the elemental?" and he nodded "very well I'll give you the early break since you basically practiced all three elements you can move on" and I nodded and closed the book and switched it with another book called an astral's guide to magic (11:00) and I opened it and read from the book afew pages before I took out my athame knives and got off the bed and walked into the middle of my floor and thats when I heard 'you can use the skill on the bed' and I nodded and climbed back on the bed and took a breath I hated this part and had blade bite into my arm, and opened a wound in the topside of my left arm, followed by a wince as I felt the sting with my athame slashing my arm and I held the wound as it pooled and I began chanting,c careful to keep the blood from drpping without my permission"I call to you in the shadowy wood the dominant one is evil and good the winner is who I feed and see in your trials both are shown to me I give my spirit to the wild one the one who I sing this song I give power to keep me strong in exchange for protection all night long guardian of power given look for courage that helps me fight even when the goal is hidden" I rotated my arm and the blood that pooled on my arm dripped onto the floor again as I began to chant once more "1 drop 2 drop 3 drops 4 I summon you when I open this door Nox NightFire, I summon you now" and as the last drop from my arm hit the ground it seemed that all four drops had vanished into nowhere but after the last a bright green sigil circle appeared on the floor next to my bed and thats when I wrapped my arm with something a sock, a shirt torn underwear usually whatever i could find because I knew it would heal in a matter of moments, I was a really fast healer but what I saw in the meantime made me keep focus; the green sigil circle glowed and pulsed with each blood drip that fed it and then it rose up vertically and the gate opened, a line cut in half separated the two sides of the circle and when it separated I heard him, Nox stepped out of the hole and into the real world a bright grey wolf the size of a lion with wings of a feathered nature that just before my eyes rose up on two legs became anthromorphic and he turned and looked at me and I nodded "well?" and he walked forward and his eyes reste on me on the bed and growled at me slightly and seemed to be checking his vitals because the only reason he was there was because I summoned him and the mana that comes forward is because of me and he looked at me and said "that was pretty good Im not gonna lie for your first try, my powers not cut no damage isn done my vitals are fine well done master Ciaran" and he nodded and so did I "but I need to do it again I need to be on the ball" and he nodded "Now how will you release me?" I nodded and put the fingers in front of my face and said "Nox Nightfire thank you for participating in my rite, I release thee blessed me, dismissed" and I swiped to the left and nother green sigil circle appeared under Nox and he closed his eyes, and closed his wings and put his hands together and seemed to slip and sink into it like water into the wood floor and I blinked and started to breath hard, this was taking alot out of me. I nodded and said "I...Im getting tired" and I heard from nox in the vanity '"thats a sign your rusty what happened if you have to open the ortal multiple of times and use your magic..and you havent even touched the astral realm yet" and I nodded and sat back on the bed and and winced as I felt my circuits firing in ways that I couldnt do before, but the good news my wound in my arm had healed without a scar I just wiped off the caked over blood. I nodded and heard a knock on the door and looked over at Roxy who was in my room "Caleb? In bed at this hour? Its lunchtime come on lazy bum wake up" and I nodded and leaned up "Roxy? Thanks" and she put her hands on her hip "you have to hurry and eat cleos expecting you" and I blinked "huh what do yo mean? Oh wait thats right shes sparring me" and I nodded and soon I was on feet and heading over to the kitchen with Roxy yeah I skipped the last meditation(12:00) lunch with the house was sloppy joes, I got to admit this place has good food it keeps me focused, I soon had another plate of food and this time I just sat on the ground I was tired from training thats what the food was for to keep up my strength and mana, soon I was diving in and I was hungry It didnt take too much time for Cleo to walk over to me and sit next to me with a piece of paper and clipboard and I looked at it "whats this?" and Cleo said "a sign up sheet for one of the octagon for me to spar with you just because judas me and you have a deal doesnt mean I cant shrug off my duties'" and I nodded and took the pen and signed it and she nodded and pushed my head slightly and got up and she was gone down into the basement where things are being prepared and I nodded after hearing Nox say something along the lines of "Be careful shes hiding her power" and I nodded again IM not worried yet if were only doing a spar she wants to test me and IM for it," and There was a growl again and I nodded "Its alright nox" Lets just eat get ready"
