The anger was quite evident on my face as it was all red
Mahi came running behind me as she saw me walking out in such a rage
Mahi: what happened??
Did he misbehave ???

Meghan: no no nothing happened you continue, I just need some time by myself...

Mahi: are you sure you don't want me to stay?

Meghan: yeah yeah , you enjoy darling!
She said smiling at her

Here Meghan is trying to calm herself down
She was in search of something that will calm her down
Walking mindlessly in any direction in search of distraction
Then a hand from behind came  offering her a choco chip ice cream
In excitement she quickly accepted without even looking behind once
And said " thank youu" as a reflex

After taking one bite her brain started calming down automatically that when she turned behind, she was expecting mahi so she asked
" How do you kn....ow....? "
Then she realised she was not one who handed her the ice cream

She was about to say something but the voice interrupted
" I am sorry for earlier " the black mask guy said

" Why are you sorry, ohh you think you have done something wrong"
Meghan said sarcastically

" Look we are not kids anymore so please stop..." He was interrupted by her

" Oh really, don't you think that's what you should have thought before doing that, which according to you might not be wrong right ? " meghna said

" Look I am the least interested one explaining things to you and I already apologized if you care to forgive me well and good or else as if I care "
He completed his sentence and left.

"Jerk" she mummered

Meghan had a blast, she had been to almost every food counter by now tried everything

Mahi was looking for her by herself  as lots of time has passed
Mahi gave up and finally called her
" Where are you ?? " She asked

" Umm....near the fountain, you come here first you'll find as soon as you reach here" Meghan replied

They disconnected the call

" Mahi try this " Meghan said

" We are already late, Chanda " mahi replied

" Exactly now even if we run we can't reach home on time so let it be and try this na " Meghan insisted
Mahi gave up eventually

" Ummm.. yum.. " mahi said

" I told you !!" meghna said with the smirk

" Yeah yeah agreed you are always right" mahi said showing thumbs up to her

They were eating their heart out and soon decided to leave, later they got into the bus

While they were seated in their seats
Mahi asked " do you care to tell me what happened today mam" with a concerned look on her face

" What ? We had a blast and lotsss of fun... And wait what about that guy you were flirting with?? " Meghna asked trying to change the topic

" Okay so you are not gonna tell me, huh? Okay and about that guy you are talking about his name is neel he is an software engineer student in 4th year and he is very gentle and kind " mahi completed with a smile on her face

" Mm-hmm blushing and all huh already i didn't expect it to go this fast
And 4th year ? Is that okay ?" Meghna questioned

" Are stop it yaar as if I am getting married tomorrow " mahi replied to her

" Ohh about that you never know "
Meghan said teasing mahi

" Heyyy! What do you mean ??? " Mahi asked

" On come on you know it very well
What I mean " Meghan said with a smirk

Mahi became quiet after listening to that and meghna started laughing later mahi also joined

Here in the arora mansion, because mahi arrived late her brother was standing on the door waiting for her

" Ummm...Bhai(brother).... hello... how was your day was every one good to you in the company nobody bothered you right you just tell me I will.." mahi was about to complete her sentence but got interrupted by her brother

" I will...what , are don of this city or what, what will you do and why will any one mess with me knowing who I am, see we both know you are trying to divert me but unfortunately you can't.... you see " her brother said

" Okay... sorry bhai I was with Meghan and we..."she was about to complete her sentence but got interrupted

" Meghna? She got home safely? " Nitin asked

" Yesss brother , she is alright and she also got home safely, do you want to call to recheck your self???? "
She said teasing him

" Go change and come down for dinner and stop you nonsense for now " nitin ordered

" Sure my dear brother" mahi said with a smirk

Here nitin is calling meghna to check

Nitin: where are you

Meghna: at home ,why?

Nitin: nothing just got bored!

Meghna: so are you planning to bore me ??

Nitin: yes mam

Meghna: shut up!! Cut the call
I am busy

Nitin: um hmm busy with???

Meghna: dinner sir, now will you let me....

Nitin: sure darling sure

Call disconnected
Nitin was relieved....

---Back story---

Nitin and meghna have known each other for years as they went to the same school although nitin was her senior
Firstly he noticed her once in her 9th class when she was beating up a guy who was stalking and blackmailing her instead of panicking or getting scared she started beating him up, almost students from 2 different floors gather there in that corridor after that incident she was famous in the whole school and he stood up for her that's how the become friends and started hanging out together that's when she met mahi and they also became friends and later by chance joined the same college and nitin joined his family business
And secretly nitin has a big crush on her except her everyone knows about the secret crush of his

At the dinner table

Shalini ji (mahi's mom): where did you get this tattoo from ?

Mahi: ohh this we went to a carnival organised by college students by the way don't worry they are temporarily

Nitin: we who ?

Mahi: who else bhai meghna and me

Nitin: you two are not studying at all right

Mahi: no bhai we were just chilling over there , our lives are very stressful you know

Nitin: yeah yeah the most stressful in the whole damn world mahi

Shalini ji: meghna also got a tattoo?

Mahi:  maybe, I don't know what happened with her

Nitin: where were you

Mahi: I was busy with a friend I found there , she just stormed off like I don't know what happened

Nitin: she was with whom at that time

Mahi: bhai listen leave her alone she seemed stressed and I think she don't want to talk about it

Nitin: interesting....
