------------------------------------------

What a time to be alive, to be here. You saw the world a new. Now you were helping your brother in spy work, you originally just helped out in Setauket but you moved to Philadelphia, that is when you passed on your own information under Thomas Culper, in honor of your late brother. You would ride to Setauket on horse to give Abe your information when the Red Coats moved in.

You worked in a pub, the downstairs was the bar and above was room where regulars stayed, officers came to drink, the regular soldiers would just drink a while then rush to bed. It was when the officers were drinking, that it was made better for information.

When you got word of a general and their numbers you rushed off to Abe and on that information trip he informed you that he met someone he wanted to add to the ring, in New York, a Robert Townsend, how he wants to join but just doesn't know it yet. You gave Abe a look that said "Uh-huh, okay" in teasing. He would make another trip to New York, said pressure was on at home. You figured it was coming from Father.

Abe said he would make contact with you when he was in York City but time came and went and soon enough you got a letter from Mary informing you that Abe was arrested as a spy. Soon enough some men came to ask you some questions. You told them you had no idea he was a spy and that you were disappointed but that if he was saying he was innocent you believe him. They let you go but you had to stop working on account of the circumstances. It was time to pay Robert Townsend a visit.

You entered Townsend's establishment and began looking around, you saw a man cleaning a glass. "Mr. Townsend might I ask for another drink?" a man spook aloud, the man cleaning the glass then went to the man and poured him more drink. This was Robert Townsend. He made eye contact with you and returned to were he once stood. "Might I help you Miss?"

"Miss...Woodhull." you answered. He rose his brow in question. "I'm his sister." you whisper. "We should talk."

"Talk about what?"

"I think it best if we talk in private." he then leads you to a side room and closes the door. "You no doubt have heard he was arrested. I must inquire... about... if... Abe has spoke of you to me?"

"No. He hasn't. I take it then that you are also a spy?"

"I am... and I must ask a favor of you."

"I am not going to spy." he goes to open the door, "I just need a place to stay. I'll work for you too. Please." you see him think, he lets go of the doorhandle. "Why?"

"I lost my job at The Red Rabbit, because of Abraham's arrest." he nodded his head to himself. You see him thinking, "The Red Rabbit is in Philadelphia." There was silence between you two. "You can stay, seeing the circumstances are as they are." he opens the door and you follow him out the door. He showed you the ropes and how to bill so everything was correct and in order, even showing you Abe's bill as an example.

Over the next few weeks you came to learn that Robert Townsend is quite but highly intelligent, a hard working man but most importantly, he is a good man. Likes to read in his downtime. You often caught yourself looking too long when he was minding his own business. He caught on and said you could read too in the same room as himself when he read so you weren't staring at the poor man.

You started to visit Abe in prison bringing gifts, one time Mary was there with her own gifts, she asked if you had written to your contacts in Washingtons camp, you had written to Ben, but got no word back, nothing. She told you she tried aswell with the loyalist side but with her aswell, nothing. One day Samuel Townsend came to visit, he was happy to meet you and even happier to find out you were related to Abraham.
