For a back story :
You met armin when you were ten after you had ran away from your family who had mistreated you in which no one knew much about as you never spoke about it.
He found you on the streets in Shiganshina (sorry if that was spelt wrong) and he took you home to his grandfather who introduced you to his friend a nice older woman (same age as his grandad) called Hazel. She took you in and thats how you and armin are so close. Eren and Mikasa are also your close friends through armin.
The start of this story is your first day of training at 4:30am (the specificness should make sense soon) you had finished getting ready and had left the girls barracks heading toward the tree.
