Anxious pt.2

Samantha's POV

Jenn gave me kian and Jc's new address and apparently Layla lives with kian. Honestly, I'm really scared to see Layla. Imagine your mother showing up after leaving for 12 years with no explanation?

I would never forgive me if I were Layla. But I don't want her to hate me.

So I'm going to hold off the little detail that I'm her mom. I'll just be kian's old friend.

I continue drive using the directions that the Gps is showing.

About 30 minutes later, I pull up to these big black gates and behind it is a really big house, basically a mansion. I park on the street and turn to look at Marli. She's looking at the house, as if she's never seen something so beautiful.

"Marli! Snap out of it!" I yell, snapping in her face. She giggles and looks at me.

"Your brother actually lives here?" She asks in awe. I nod, chuckling.

I step out the car and stretch. I look in the car window and make sure I look decent. Marli gets out and she smiles at me.

"It's time!" She says excitedly. I gulp and nod. We start walking towards the gate. Once we get there, I look at her and she pats my back and nods.
I open the gate and we start walking towards the door.

I ring the doorbell and feel my heart beating so fast.

"It's open!" A very familiar voice yells.

I grab the door knob and I feel like my heart is beating out of my chest. I open the door and start walking. I hear people's voices coming from the room down the hall.

I slowly start walking down the hall and stop a few steps away from the door.

You can do this Samantha. they won't hate you. They love you, you're family.

I step out into the doorway. And see everyone. And by everyone, I mean everyone, Kian, Jc,Ricky, Connor, Lia, Jenn, Jack and a few others that I don't know. They only person I don't see is Sam.

"Samantha." Kian says standing up. He walks over to me slowly. I start tearing up. He has changed so much. He's so grown.

He finally gets to me. He stops and just looks at me, I can see the tears in his eyes.

"Hey ki." I say smiling. He grabs me and pulls me into a bear hug. We both start crying.

"I missed you so much." He cries into my shoulder. I'm crying so hard right now, I can't answer.

I feel so safe in his arms. I feel at home, like all the worries have been lifted off my shoulders.

He lets go and stands me up straight. He smiles at me and wipes my tears. I giggle and wipe my face.

Kian moves to the side and everyone stands up. The run over and we just start a big love fest. We do a big group hug and cry.

After all the emotions, we all sit down and then I remember Marli. She's still standing at the doorway, awkwardly. I stand up and get her.

"Guys, this is Marli. My really good friend and roommate." I say to them. The all smile and wave. She smiles back. We sit down and everyone starts asking me questions.

"Where have you been?" Jack asks.

"Well, you know, around." i say and then chuckle.
We continue to talk and they ask questions.

"Umm, so can you fill me in on my daughter?" I ask Kian.
He smiles.

"She lives with Sam, she's always over here though. She's really close with us. Um, she's on summer vacation, and she's grown a lot." he says laughing. I smile.

"Oh ok and-" I get cut off.

"Samantha?"

I look up and I see him. I see the hurt in his eyes.

"Sam." I say standing up
