A Guide for Me

I sat in Algebra, and she was glaring at me.

Kate.

What's up with her?

Oh well.. I'll asked after Class.

20 minutes went by and Finally Algebra ended.

We were standing in the hallway and I saw her crying by the bathroom.

I walked up to her, and FINALLY, she had told me that she was raped.

I was shocked.

I told her I'm sorry and How terrible it was.

I wanted to buy her something, but I didn't know what.

We sat there and we saw three strange people walk in through the doors, in a bit of a rush.

I didn't know what happened until I opened my eyes and I was on the ground.

I was loaded into the ambulance and my brother Will was called out of class to ride along.

The 3 people were EMT's and Before I could see their faces, or identify their genders, I sat there and felt an oxygen mask being place onto my face.

Then I looked up and saw two males and a female working by putting in an IV and a blood pressure monitor.

What happened to me?

Will looked shocked, but I probably just fainted.

This used to happen all the time when I was a little kid.

The last time was when I was 5.

I had a fainting disorder and low blood pressure, it runs in the family.

I guess fainting and my brother finding out is kind of scary.

He had to take care of me last time.

It was finally 2 a.m. and I saw him sleeping in my hospital bed with me.

I laid there for about 10 minutes, as I wondered where my parents and Tyler are, and I didn't want to bother Will.

Will looked so peaceful, and not sweaty and tired from hockey, like I always see him when he goes to sleep.

He opened his eyes and Noticed I was awake.

"Sarah? How are you feeling?" asked Will.

I answered half heartily, "I feel fine, just a little confused. What happened?"

Will thought and told me, "Well, you had really low blood pressure and you were crying and in shock."

"Oh, the last time I had fainted-," I was saying as he cut me off.

"-When you were 5. I was there Sarah, remember?"

I sat there and said, "Yeah."

And there was a long moment of silence.

"Where's Mom, Dad, and Tyler?"

I asked.

"Waiting room, I stayed in here to keep you company." He answered.

"Oh, well, Thanks Will, I'm tired." I stated.

"Me too, Go to sleep, the doctors need to test your spinal fluid tomorrow to see if fainting can reoccur. " He said, Turned on his side, and began to snore.

"Goodnight," I whispered.

"Goodnight," he replied during a yawn.
