Sorry this is a little late, thank you to the few people who have read so far. Enjoy 💋
Walker pulled you up, hands linked with yours When you stood you found that your legs were really shaky and you leaned against Walker for support without thinkin, he immediately wrapped his arm around your waist.
"Careful..." He muttered through his yawn, as you leaned against him. The Interviewer just smirked as you started to walk, but kept his mouth shut to let you two have this moment.
You began to walk out of the building with Walkers arm around your waist, which you no longer needed but really appreciated. Once you were in the hallway leading toward the door, and were out of sight of everyone, you leaned your head against his shoulder.
Walker's neck muscles tensed for a second, his heartbeat increasing slightly. But he kept his, keeping you close and guiding you down the hall.
We reached the end of the hallway and as we exited the door Walker stumbled, you'd forgotten how tired he was too "you okay?"
"N-No." Walker mumbled, rubbing his eyes. He needed to wake up but it was hard. The warmth from you was keeping him slightly sleepy.
"Can we stay like this for a bit more?" He mumbled, not meaning for you to hear. He was embarrassed but still just wanted to stay like this.
Even though you were in the middle of the sidewalk, you paused and stood to wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him in close to you.
Walker felt like his heart was going to beat fast enough to explode and his body froze for a few seconds, all the emotions running through his head. In that moment, he was just yours and you were just his. Walker took a deep breath, holding you tight, a smile finally creeping on his face.
"Thank you..." He murmured, rubbing your back once again as he buried his face into your neck. You were both exhausted and it showed. But in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Walkers hands were tight around your waist, holding you close. "always" you whispered as he leaned his head against your shoulder.
Walker smiled once again, his breath warming you as he held you close. His eyes began to slowly lid, as he fought to stay awake. It was clear you were both very exhausted, but neither of you wanted this moment to end.
Your stomach was filled with butterflies, you'd never been this close to walker before except when you'd fallen asleep earlier. You loved the feeling of his head nuzzled in your neck, his lips pressed against his warm skin
Walker pulled you even closer, you were pressed to his chest, wrapped up in his arms. He kept mumbling as he tried to keep his eyes from fully closing. He was in a daze, everything he was feeling right now was just bliss.
You heard the car that was supposed to pick you up pull up behind you and Walker. You knew Walker would fall asleep at any second. You didn't want to disturb your moment and you knew Walker was too tired to know the car was here so you slipped one arm away from his neck to reach out and open the door. You heard Walker groan in protest at the moment, wanting to just be held.
Walker was definitely not expecting you to break away. He was slowly fading away from consciousness, and he immediately grabbed back onto you when you tried to slip away and open the car door.
"What are you doing..." He mumbled, slightly irritated but more so tired. He wanted you back in his grip so he could fall asleep with you in his arms.
You managed to open the car door and you wrapped your arms back around his neck "I'm not going anywhere."
The moment your arms were wrapped around his neck once again, Walker relaxed. He breathed in deeply, a content sigh leaving his mouth. He smiled when you said you weren't going anywhere.
