Meetings

I wake up to my alarm ringing at 5:30 am, the ass crack of dawn. I quickly shut it off so i wont wake up matt who was sleeping next to me. i roll out of bed and tiredly make my way to the shower, washing my hair and body, dry off and change into jeans with a while button up, doing my hair and make up leaving the house at 6:30 to make it to my meeting at 7, but not before i place a kiss on matts forehead saying bye while he still rest, he deserves it. The traffic was horrible and I was already late so I'm practically running into the meeting 

"Hi, I'm so sorry traffic was horrible" I say sitting down with my manager and some of my team members and then some people I've never seen a day in my life. I do youtube and this was one of the meetings where everyone discuses what's the next step in my career and I'm kind of just here to yes or no suggestions, its very boring.

My phone buzzes and it was a message from matt

Matt: Good Morning my love, have a good meeting!

Me: Good morning babes, i might go insane, this could've been an email

Matt: Well not much we can do about it now, how long is it anyways?

Me: till 12... 5 hours of going over everything i already know

Matt: Damn I'm sorry, just think you have the rest of the day after to do whatever

Me: That is true, I'm probably going to sleep for most the day i need to catch up on sleep

Matt: whatever floats your boat, i love you focus on your meeting now lol

Me: i love you too

I set my phone back into my pocket and listen back into my meeting which was my team going over everything i had accomplished so far into the year and what opportunities that opened for me. We designed merch for about an hour and the only thing i ended up liking was a hoodie the was black and in red writing on the back said 'saw who you wanted, not who i was' I saved it into my file and spaced out.

 I pulled up Snake on my laptop and started playing it out of pure boredom,  with only about an hour left of my meeting i had gone completely mind numb and i pulled my phone out to text matt again

Me: Matt, i cant do it anymore i want to stab everyone here

Matt: just dont get blood on your shirt, im taking you to lunch after

Me: i love that your enabling me 

Matt: what else am i hear for, but in all seriousness you only have an hour left just breathe and focus i promise this hour will be quick

Me: ill try

I took matts advice and focused and it did go by quicker once the meeting was over i shook everyone's hand and went to my car and drove home. i walked into the apartment where Nick, Matt and Chris were at the table talking. "Hi" i say setting my laptop down "hello" nick said and Chris gave me a small smile while matt walked over to me "hi my love" he gave me a hug and quick kiss i smile and give him a quick kiss again making Chris fake gag "shut up" i tell him "ohhh someones mad" he teases "im not mad your just annoying, i still love you though" i say 

"should i change or just wear this?" i ask matt as we walk into our room "whatever you want to do" he said and i change into a t-shirt, shorts, and air forces. "you look cute" matt said hugging me from behind "thank you baby, you look very good yourself" i said and matt chuckled grabbing my hand as we walked out.
