Dong Chao checked the divorce agreement and looked at Little Five Standing aside with a raring face. It looked like he feared he would regret.
He had no choice but to pick the pen and sign his name on the divorce agreement and then pressed his fingerprint.
Wang Jiani also signed her own name. She held the paper to her chest and cried, “You bastard! Finally, I can get rid of you.”
Dong Chao looked at Qin Haodong and said, “I’ve already done what you’ve said, can you let go of me now?”
Qin Haodong smiled and said, “When did I say I will let you go?”
“You, you’re fooling me around?” Dong Chao roared in anger. At the same time, several policemen came over and handcuffed him immediately.
Nalan Wuxia said, “Dong Chao, you’re under arrest for gathering people to take drugs. Now go with us.”
As the policemen arrived, Dong Chao became more unafraid because he knew he would never be cut. He yelled to Qin Haodong, “Gigolo boy! Wait for me! I’ll never let this go!”
Qin Haodong smiled brightly, “OK! I’ll wait for you, but you have to get out of jail first.”
Nalan Wuxia waved her hand. Two policemen took Dong Chao into the patrol wagon.
She pulled Qin Haodong aside and said, “You big womanizer. Why do you have to have a woman around every time you bring me troubles?”
Qin Haodong thought for a moment and found that was true. He smiled awkwardly and said, “That’s a coincidence! Well, why do you have to call me ‘troubles’? I am helping you contribute! You’ll soon get promoted as long as I am here!”
Nalan Wuxia hummed. Qin Haodong was right. She had solved big cases one after another recently and had been rewarded several times. If it went well, she would soon be promoted.
She then asked, “Are you available tonight?”
Qin Haodong smiled and said, “Why? You want to buy me dinner? It’s too early now, why not we have it after you got your promotion?”
“You wish! My grandpa wants to see you. Please go visit him if you have time tonight.”
“Oh? What’s going on?”
“You’ll know if you go.”
Nalan Wuxia got on the car and left after she said that.
“Thank you, Doctor Qin!”
Wang Jiani walked to Qin Haodong and said with gratitude.
“It’s fine. Buy yourself a suit and enjoy your life.”
Qin Haodong let Dafei transfer 1 million to Wang Jiani after he said that. Then they walked to Long Haisheng’s house.
Long Haisheng and his wife were already waiting at the gate of the villa when they arrived. They welcomed Qin Haodong warmly.
The little fellow and Long Xiaobao were playing in the house. Long Haisheng said, “Doctor Qin, thank you so much. My son has felt much better after you treated him last time.”
Qin Haodong checked Long Xiaobao. He was much better than last time. His face turned rosy and his head became bushy.
After a short catching-up, he started treating Long Xiaobao for the second time.
Twenty minutes later, he collected his silver needles and said, “Remember to take the medicine on the prescription. He’ll be fully cured after one more treatment.”
