Chapter 17

Recap: "Because I want you to marry me." He says.

Kayla's Pov

"What?" I ask looking at him like he's crazy. "I want you to marry me, ever since you walked into my home I wanted to marry you." He says.

"Why would you want to marry me, I'm a nobody and plus I'm not the type of person that should be getting married." I say.

"I want to marry you because you make me feel complete and make me feel like I'm worth something. As for the last part, you deserved to be married because you're not a fück up like I am and you deserve happiness for the rest of your life and I want to try and be the person who gives you happiness." He says.

"Every time something good happens in my life, someone comes and ruins it. It's always a person to ruin everything that I have and I don't think I should get married to you because for all I know you will hurt me just like the others. I can't bear another heart break Zayn." I say looking at him.

"I promise I won't break your heart. I'll do everything that I can to make sure that you're happy." He says. "Alright fine, I'm giving you this one chance to prove to me that you won't hurt me like the others and if you prove it, then I'll marry you. If you hurt me I get to leave here along with the boys." I say.

"Why would you want to leave here with the boys?" He asks. "Because they had their life taken away when you kidnapped them, so if you fail then we all get to go home." I say.

"Alright fine." He says holding his hand out for me to shake. I shake his hand and he says, "Come on, I'm taking you somewhere that will make you marry me automatically."

We walk out of the mansion and out to a garden. "You think a garden is going to make me marry you?" I ask. "No, but the thing behind the garden might." He says pulling back some bushes.

He leads me to a small waterfall and a stream going down the ground. "Is it beautiful?" He asks looking at me. "It is, but its not enough to make me marry you." I say.

"I know that's why I've arranged a picnic and while we day we can watch the waterfall light up due to the lights he has set up behind it.

We sit there enjoying the view until someone runs up to him and says, "Master Zayn, someone has broken into the mansion."

"Have this entire place shut down until the intruder is found." He says standing up and looking at me.

"Is that the way it's always going to be, we have a nice date and someone always interrupts then you choose them over me?" I ask.

He looks at me but doesn't say nothing. "Are you really choosing this stupid job over me, you said it yourself I made you fell like you were worth something. So why choose that over me? I'm going to tell the boys that they can leave since we made a promise and you already used your chance." I snap walking away and heading to Louis' room.

"Hey Kayla, what's up?" Louis asks letting me his room. "Nothing, Zayn's just annoying me so I came here." I say. "What did he do now?" Louis asks.

"He basically told me he wanted to marry me then chose his job over me which made me mad for some reason considering I never really cared about his job." I say.

"Well, he's just being an asshole if you ask me. I told you before that you deserve so much better than him. Ever since you came here I knew he was going to find a way to break your heart that's why I tried to make sure he didn't. That's why I told you to be careful and not to fall into his stupid game. You don't deserve any of that." He says looking me in the eyes.

We start leaning forward and Louis caresses my cheek and pulls me closer until our lips touch. His lips are a lot softer than Zayn's, and to be honest I like it.

Maybe Louis is right, I should just stop worrying about Zayn and be with a person who makes me happy.

When we pull away I say, "You were right, I need to be with a person who makes me happy." "To be honest Kayla, you make me a lot happier than my ex made me feel. You're special to me, always have been and always will be." He says.

"Well before I forget, me and Zayn made a deal that if he couldn't make me happy to where I wanted to marry him, me, you, and the boys are allowed to leave." I say.

"Are you serious?" He asks shocked. "Yeah, he couldn't do it so we all can leave. He gave me his word." I say. "Do you understand how amazing this is? I have to tell the boys." He says standing up and hugging me.

"Well you do that while I pack, do you want me to pack your clothes?" I ask. "No you don't have to, I'll pack them when I get back." He says running out of the room.

I walk to my room and pack and when I finish Zayn walks in my room. "You were really serious about you and the boys leaving?" He asks. "Yes I was Zayn, we'll come visit though." I say.

"Where are you going to stay?" He asks. "I'm not really sure yet, but I'll text you when I find a place. Just don't stalk me or kidnap me again." I say.

He looks at the ground and I say, "Zayn, maybe this is the best thing for us. We can probably build a relationship and see each other every other day. We'll somehow make it through this." I say.

"Yeah you're right, I should let you get going. Oh and here's some money for your trip." He says handing me a huge stack of cash.

"Zayn this looks like I can buy a house and a car." I say. "That's because there's plenty of money in your hand to buy two houses and four cars if you want to. Just take it please." He says walking out of the room.

Louis walks in and asks, "Where are you going to go?" "I'm not really sure yet, I don't have a family so I'll probably rent an apartment." I say.

"Nonsense, come stay with me. I have plenty of room and my parents live down the road." He says. "I don't want to be a bother." I say. "You won't come on let's go." He says grabbing my bags.

"Bye boys, keep in touch and text me when you get home." I say hugging each of them. "We will and thanks again." Niall says getting in their limo.

Me and Louis wave goodbye and then get in our limo to head to his apartment.

Hello everybody, as you can tell I haven't updated in such a long time and that's because I feel like no one reads this story. No one ever votes or comments on it except for two people and it gets kind of annoying after a while. So unless I start getting more votes or something I may not update this book that often but I will continue to update. I just don't want to waste my time writing a story that no one reads. I hope you all understand.
