Chapter 9: Fishy Lake

Ch.9: Fishy Lake

After our heros left the Space HQ.....

"Man its a nice day to go to Fishy Lake." I said stretching my arms out. "Can't wait to greet to you my cousin. She is a bit random, but she's cool."

"Is she a Bac just like you?" Mitch asked.

"Nope, but she has a bit of it in her blood."

"Can she swim?"

"Well duh! She can swim! We're almost there."

We pass through the woods until we saw a sign that says, "Fishy Lake".

"HEY JEROMEY!" A voice yelled as I saw Katy running towards me with a hug.

"It's Jerome. Haven't seen you in like, forever! It's great to caught up to you."

"Uh Jerome," Mitch whispered to me. "She's not a bacca like you."

"If your related to Jerome, why are you a human?" Quentin said out load.

I nudged Quentin still smiling. Katy chuckled a little. "It's okay. Now come on! Let's go!" Katy jumped into the pool with Quentin following.

"Well biggums, let's get our fishing on!" Mitch said pulling out his rod and swing it into the lake.

"Not if I get more fish then you!" I swinged my rod to the lake.

"Alright fine, whoever collects the most fish WITHOUT help in 30 mimutes wins. If I win, I get Betty for 2 weeks." He said.

"Okay, but if I win, I'll get your hoodie and I will wear it for 2 weeks." I replied.

"Deal!" We said in unison as the fish race began.

30 minutes later....

"Okay, times up! Let's count our fish." Mitch announced as he placed his rod on the ground. We began counting our fish and placed them in the buckets.

"I got 75!" Mitch said proudly holding his two buckets. "Top that!"

"It took me a long time, but I caught 127 fish." I said as a butt load of buckets were filled behind me. "And a Mudkip."

15 minutes into the race, I caught Quentin and we have to pause the game and unhook him. I laughed at that as I grabbed one of the raw fish and start eating it. While Mitch on the other hand starts cooking on the fire pit.

Suddenly Katy and Quentin quickly walked out of the water. "Guys! There's something in the sky!" Katy exclaimed. "It's gold and it looks like a comet!"

BOOOOM!

"EVERYONE GET DOWN!" I yelled as Quentin, Katy, and Mitch hid behind objects. I quickly climbed up a tree into the leaves holding onto the branches.

I looked up in the sky. Streaks of white and black light spread out in different directions. One of the white streaks twinkled yellow. I thought I saw a part of my life flash before my eyes.

The sandy dust finally cleared out. Mitch, Katy, and Quentin got up from their spots.

"Is everyone alright?" I asked as I jumped off from the tree. "Yeah, except the taste of sand in my mouth!" Katy replied spitting sand out of get mouth.

I looked up and saw a blue object falling from the sky. It was wearing a space outfit just like Jason wears to....

JASON! I quickly climbed a tree and jumped from tree to tree. Mitch and Katy traveled behind me scaling the trees.

"I'll go back to the house! Save Jason!" Quentin said as he ran away from the lake.

"Mitch, give me the el boost!" I said. "When do I use it?" He asked me as I nodded. I jumped and then Mitch smacks with a stick from a tree.

I bolted like torpedo to Jason. Apparently it didnt last long as Jason and I fell from the skies.
