Millie had been walking home with her best friend Rose. The two had been friends for a long time and she really liked her. Did Rose feel the same? She didn't know but she hoped she did. "Are you listening?" Rose asked making Millie snap back to reality, "yeah sorry." She said in return and smiled convincingly. Millie and Rose parted ways to their own houses. "Bye Millie!" Rose called out before they turned away, Millie smiled and waved quietly before going into her house. She put her bag on the ground and sighed "dang it I keep zoning out man." She said to herself walking up to her room and sitting on her bed drawing. Her drawings weren't the best but not the worst either. She drew cartoons and her own characters. Then she heard her mom call her full name. Did her mom know about that test she flunked? Oh crap. she got up off her bed and went to the hallway, "yes mother dearest of mine?" She said innocently. "Did you fail your math test?" Her mother asked her sternly. "Maybe? Maybe not." She said nervously, she knew better than lying though. "Ugh, just go study kiddo." Her mother said annoyed towards her. "Alright, thanks mom bye!" She said running to her room and studying, she hated it but she wasn't gonna get grounded. She hummed To music as she studied, looking out the window at the moon. It was really pretty so she drew it. It actually looked good for once. She remembered to study after doing that and finished before getting on her phone and texting some friends, when she looked at the time again it was 3 in the morning. Oh come on it felt like 5 minutes! She sighed placing down her phone and laid on her bed. Pulling up the blanket she closed her eyes and after awhile fell asleep finally.
