In The Sky 2

POV Marinette:

I didn't know that this flight will change my whole life. I enjoy this place. I was looking from the window and remember the days when I was a stewardess before I get engaged to Luka.

He asked me that time to stay with him at home and he will spoil me, but here where I'm now.

When I was busy watching the view from the window, I heard a voice that know very well

Luka: hello miss, I'm ....

I looked to where it come this voice; it was Luka talking to one of the stewardesses but he stopped talking once he saw me then he walked toward me

Luka: what the hell are you doing here?

Marinette: same thing as your mistress. Flying to Paris.

Luka: huh, so you bought the first class ticket with my money. Get off the plane and return the ticket now.

He said while grabbing my hand and get me off my seat. He was grabbing hard on my arm

Marinette: let me go, you are hurting me

I was glad that man get in, and when Luka saw him, he let me go

Adrien: what seems to be the problem?

Luka: oh captain, she needs to get off.

Adrien: I'm sorry sir, but you don't belong here

Luka: well yeah, she belongs at home.

Adrien: and you belong in the economic class. So please, let go of the first class passenger and take your seat

Luka: fine, but Marinette, if you don't get off this plane now, I'll make sure you have no money left.

My eyes teared up when Luka said that, I hate to be depended on my fiance, so I just looked at the pilot

Marinette: e-excuse me captain, I need to get off

Adrien: I'm sorry Miss, but it's no longer possible. We are going to fly right now and the door is already locked

Luka: fine, when we arrive, you will crawl to me begging for some money for food

When he left, I wrapped my arms around myself and cried but the captain asked me to take a seat and that's what I did before he leaves to get his place.

I was crying so much, afraid of what will happen once I'm there back to New York. I wanted to jump out of the plane I was at a dead end with no way out. The plane is flying high in the sky, but I wish I can enjoy this view without thinking of what I'll be

Adrien: I have never seen anyone crying in first class before

I freaked out when I see the captain take the seat in front of me

Marinette: w-what are you doing here? Who is flying the plane sir?

Adrien: what does that matter? In the company of a girl like you, anyone wouldn't mind crashing.

Marinette: oh g-god

Adrien: don't worry, my co-pilot has everything under control

A stewardess put then a plate of French dessert on my table and she left. For the first time today, I smile when I looked at the captain

Marinette: I don't know your name yet

Adrien: sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Adrien Agreste, princess

Marinette: Marinette Dupain Cheng

Adrien: so, are you going to stay and fly to Paris?

Marinette: well, what have I got to lose? An ugly housewife that become homeless.

Adrien: not on my plane

He said that then he stands up to go back to the cockpit but before he left, he run his hand on mine

Adrien: enjoy your flight this stranger turned my flight into a fairytale. That any girl would dream of.

In the middle of the flight, Adrien walked in with a blanket while I was resting and covered me then he had the seat in front of me

Marinette: why are you doing this? All this

Adrien: just to impress you and then ask you to go out with me in Paris

Marinette: y-you and me?

I said with a wide smile on my face

Adrien: you said it yourself that you have nothing to lose.

Marinette: ohhh true

Adrien: parlez vous en francais? (do you speak French?)

Marinette: hmmmmmmmm oui (yes)

I said with a giggle because I know only that word in French but he smiled and raised playfully an eyebrow

Marinette: hhhhh no no I don't

Adrien: hhhhh no problem, you have enough time to learn some phrases in French

Marinette: yepp I'll try

Adrien: so, time to go, see you in Paris princess

He said while holding my hand to his soft lips and kiss the back of my hand Marinette: s-see you I said with a blush. Then he left. I laid back on my comfortable seat and covered my eyes giggling, I can't believe what's happening.

I accepted this challenge of fate and decided to plunge headlong into adventure in the most romantic place on earth. Maybe the captain is right, and I really will find my love there I just pulled out the ring that Luka used to propose me with and I throw it in the glass of champagne I had in front of me

I can't wait to be in Paris with Adrien .....
