Carlos to Logan: 11:45 P.M.: I found out what happened. You won’t like it. It was some mechanic fella named Matthew Davis. Your boy went with him that night and things got outta hand. Your boy put up a fight I’ll give him that. I sent you the videos—check your emails.
Logan's jaw clenched, his knuckles turning white as he gripped his phone with trembling hands. Anger surged through him, a mix of betrayal and frustration that threatened to consume him whole. He felt a surge of resentment towards Matthew, for his involvement with Nathan—for whatever role he had played in harming his Nathan. But even more than that, he felt a searing rage directed at Nathan for disregarding his warnings—for disobeying his orders to steer clear of that bastard!
His eyes grew a shade darker as he wrestled with his emotions.
He didn't know where to direct his fury, but he would be seeing Nathan tonight.
