{Competitions Pt.2}

"Now let the match begin!" Sect leader Su announces as the dual between Mo Quan and his disciples starts. The four duals before Mo Quan were surprisingly entertaining, and I'm pretty sure the sect leaders were having fun while doing it.

As Mo Quan was getting his ass beat..(sorta), Sect leader Su was handing me a sword, since I guess I needed one, and I couldn't just use my fan. I don't think some people know the durability of my fan, it's pretty fucking durable. But anyway that's beside the point, I'm still not used to using a sword, I mean, can you blame me? I haven't used a sword in ten years, how about you try abandoning your sword for ten years then pick up it up again one day, it would feel like your using it again for the first time.

As I hold the sword I feel a strange familiarity with the weapon, obviously, because I used to wield one but let me have my moment. This one of course is not as big and is a lot lighter than my blossom. I'm normally used to a sword that's a lot heavier so when I slash this one it's more messy and fast. After a few slashes I got used to its weight. I'm still not as good as I once was, but that was to be expected, I did abandon my sword after all...but honestly I didn't just abandon it because I got too carried away while handling it, after injuring Yu Liang with it I vowed to myself for him to be the only human I kill with it, since I injured his eye with it I'm sure he hates my sword, I mean, he's half blind now. Not my fault he decided to do demonic cultivation, so he was practically asking for it. All the information I have on him now is that he's in seclusion, strengthening his qi. Hopefully he says there for another 5 years, or even better I find his location and kill him.

Thankfully since we're going last my disciples have enough time to recuperate. Honestly I don't know how kids have so much energy, Ran Zhou especially. The kid is psycho, and I know that sounds mean, but I've seen that kid eat a bird before because he didn't like what was in the cafeteria. I mean, what normal person does that?

Honestly I'm confused, with the Shizun x disciple battles, is there supposed to be a winner? Because I doubt these kids can defeat their Shizun yet. I mean Xia Song and whatever the other names of Mo Quan's disciples are, are pretty strong, but Mo Quan is stronger and has more experience, even if this is a one on three. They didn't announce if there was a winner or not in the first four rounds so maybe there isn't a winner? I mean it would be pretty unfair anyway.

As me, Yu Liang, Shu Qinghua, and Shizun, walked into the territory where the competitions are being held, Yu Liang whispers to me. "Shixiong..(Older martial brother)...do you think that one of us will win this year?" "I mean we might, you have been training a lot more, so maybe you can." "Shixiong is too nice, I think Shixiong will win." Yu Liang replies, moving his blonde hair out of his face. "Just because I have more experience doesn't mean that you can't win." "Whatever you say." Yu Liang says with a grin.

As we finish are conversation Shizun says. "Alright, you guys already know what I'm about to say, but I mine as well say it anyway." Shizun says as he stands infront of us, his white robes fluttering in the wind. "I do not care if you win, or don't win. As long as you learn from your flaws in your performance." "Yes, Shizun." Me, Yu Liang, and Shu Qinghua say. "Good. Now let's go to our pavilion."

As we enter the pavilion door, we all start heading to our rooms. When I enter my room I take out my folding fan, fanning away my sweat. It's a good thing I put my hair up in a simple bun before we left the sect, if. I kept my hair in a half up half down style like usual my neck would get hot.

I look around the room. The room is decent, very nice, but very plain. Not that it's needs to be fancy though, since these are only used once a year, it would be a waste.
