"So? Tell them" I said with a playful chuckle. But as his expression quickly shifted, a cloud of concern washed over me. "What's wrong?" I asked, stepping closer to him, my heart sinking at the sudden change in his demeanor.

With a heavy sigh, Nanon confessed, "I miss my brother.....What if my mom hadn't sold me?" His voice trailed off, his gaze fixed on some distant memory etched into the corner of the room.

In that moment, I realized the weight of his past was bearing down on him, casting a shadow over his present. "Forget the past, this is your present" I urged gently, reaching out to offer whatever solace I could. "There is no need to be sad"

Wrapping my arms around him, I pulled him into a comforting embrace, my hand instinctively patting his hair in a soothing gesture. "Now is not the time to dwell on what could have been. Let's focus on the here and now" I suggested, mustering a hopeful smile despite the heaviness in my own heart.

Nanon said, "You go downstairs; I'm coming" as he kissed my cheeks softly and dashed towards the bathroom. I couldn't help but smile at his playful gesture before making my way downstairs.

As I descended, I spotted my mom engaged in lively conversation with our maids, laughter filling the room. "What are you guys talking about?" I inquired, pulling out a chair at the lunch table.

"Why, do you want to hear too?" She teased, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she served herself a plate of food. "We're dying to hear about your first meeting" she added, setting the plate down on the table.

With a playful grin, I replied, "Well, I saw him, and I fell in love with him" reaching for a plate of my own. "Ah, I know, but how? Where?" my mom pressed, a hint of frustration in her voice.

And so, I spilled the beans, recounting every detail of that fateful encounter, reliving the moment when our paths first crossed and our hearts intertwined.

I witnessed Nanon eagerly taking a seat, exclaiming, "Oh my God! Sushi! My favorite!" In that moment, my mom interjected, "I've arranged your honeymoon"

"What? Honeymoon before marriage?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion. "I miss my mom," Nanon suddenly uttered, his voice fading along with his expression. "Could you please refrain from discussing them?" I interjected, irritation evident in my tone.

She suddenly looked at me with a puzzled expression and suggested, "What about Korea for honeymoon?" I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the idea. "Korea? We'll do our honeymoon in my room," I quipped, which seemed to catch Nanon off guard as he blurted out, "ahh shut up!" Despite the awkwardness, she seemed determined, declaring, "Tonight, done!" as she got up from her chair, interrupting our lunch.

After we finished eating, I headed room, but before I could even change out of my clothes, my mom appeared with a announcement "Pack your bags! Honey, your flight is tonight." I couldn't help but wonder why everything was happening so quickly.

By 6:34 pm, I had packed my bags and left for Nanon's house, knowing he hadn't even started packing yet. "Finally, a happy life," I thought to myself, a big smile spreading across my face as I anticipated our adventure together.

Upon arriving at his house, Nanon managed to pack his bag in just one hour. As we prepared for our journey, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was the start of something truly special
