Adventurers Odyssey

Episode 1 - part 3

Somewhere in town, two best friends, a human and a female pig beastman stop by the bakery shop close to their middle school to buy desserts as they scroll through one of their phones watching random videos and such when a teen orc greets them good morning from behind giving them quite the scare.

Teen orc: BAHAHA, good morning Sam, Patty. What's up?

The young beastmen patty punches the teen orc on his arm for frightening her and her human friend Sam but quickly laughs before making their way to the cashier with their stuff as they talk.

Patty: And yeah, that's about it. I think

Teen orc: ahh, that's why you're not in school uniform. Today's a special day for you guys.

Sam: Yeah, to be honest, I'm super nervous.

Patty: Try not to worry we'll be fine, it's just a special event we're we sing, get gifts and go home. I'll show you something good tomorrow.

She patted her friend on the back as the teen orc cash the items when they suddenly felt a sudden earthquake for 3 seconds, the customers felt the shake but paid little mind.

The teen orc Jack bags the items for his friends and lets them know his family is planning a 2 trip asking if they want to join which they accept.

Sam: Alright we'll be going to school now, thank you for the help!

Jack: My pleasure, come by anytime-hmm? Looking for something patty?

Patty: I forgot to buy some juice and cheesy popcorn, go without Sam. I'll catch up with you in class.

Sam: Okay, see you there, later jack.

Jack: Mhmm. See you Later!

Sam walked out of the bakery heading straight for school holding a bag with ingredients with a sheepish look, a bit excited to bake with his schoolmates at a club but was more nervous about the graduation and a bit sad to know he wouldn't be seeing them again, he noticed a flier of a missing person on a tree close to a bench. With curiosity, he picks out the flier and begins reading.

" Amelia , age 13 went missing 4 months ago, her neighbors recall the last sight of her was at an intersection to a bus stop to her high school. Her parents are desperate to find their daughter, putting up a reward if found. PLEASE CALL IF YOU SEE HER ########"

Sam: That's awful, where could she have gone? I hope they find her

*SNAP*

Hm? What's that sound?

Sam listened for the sound he heard while walking to be startled by the sound of a crunch by the trees close to him, without time he was quickly wrapped by a large tentacle before he was dragged without a sound leaving his cell phone and ingredients behind.

Patty runs out of the store to catch up with Sam calling out to find his things lying on the ground, she calls out his name thinking he wonder off to some stray animal.

Patty: Where is he? If it's a cute stray animal at least call me to hold the bag for you, plus we just bought those to bake.*starring at the ingredients left on the ground*

It's a good thing I buy extras just in case, but really where is he? We're gonna be!- *SLIP* Ahh!

*Thud*

OWW! That hurts!

Patty feels a bit embarrassed and quickly gets up to avoid being seen but feels something slimy on her hands, grossed out she quickly wipes her hands and blows with a hand towel.
