Chapter 5 : The first and the last good time

Changbin POV:

The morning light seeped through the window. It was simply so peaceful in the country side of Gyeongju. I turned around to see seungmin as always. His chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm. Hair fell over his eyes. He looked so cute, So beautiful. I traced the outline of his jaw. He gently stirred but didn't wake up ;A small sigh escaping his lips as he leaned into my touch. I traced gently patterns from his chin to his lips. The soft lips I can't get enough of. I placed a gentle kiss on his temple causing him to wake up. "Sorry. Did I wake you up?" I asked. "Yeah. But It's fine. I like waking up to you like this." He grinned. I ruffled his hair. "Gosh why are you so cute? This is illegal." I said. We layed there for a few moments before he kissed my lips. It was sweet and warm as always but it always sent a jolt of electricity through my body as though it was my first. It lasted for a few moments before he pulled away. "I love you." I said. "Like you should." He replied. "And when do I get my "I love you."?" I asked. "I kissed you. Is that not enough?" He asked getting up from bed. I shook my head. "Say you love me." I said. "Nope." He said pointing his tongue out. "Come back!!" I yelled.

Minho POV :

Me and Han were making breakfast for everyone. "I hope chan is not still pissed about last night." I broke the silence. "He won't be. He's just so In love with the jeongin." He replied, chuckling. I agreed : He could never be mad at jeongin for long. They were so oblivious to their very obvious admiration for each other that It was almost annoying how the haven't figured out yet. I whisked the eggs absent- mindedly when I felt arms wrap around me. It was han of course. "Maybe we should something about those two. Maybe set up a date." He said squeezing me a little tighter. "Yeah. We'll say. They can't keep quite for long." I said turning to face him. He pecked my lips. His lips were soft as ever. I smiled. To ruin the mood,a grumpy hyunjin came in. "Morni-Uh what the fudge is--you now what? Nevermind. What did I expect from filthy mortals like yall." He said."Mortals?Then what are you?" I argued. He placed a hand on his forhead messaging his temples. "You are focusing on the wrong thing here." He muttered angrily. "We were expressing our love for each other, and we did. What's the matter with you lately?" I tried to sound calm. He wasn't who he usually was lately. I was fearing the worst. What if.....No No. It can't be him. The mark on his arm was the only way to find out. It brought back bad memories : Blood, shards of glass, the flashing ambulance lights, the crowd....We were foolish then. One mistake and everything came crashing down.

"A life where light was a necessity, not a luxury. One drop of a sun ray could restore my faith in what could be, what should be rather than what could've been, what should have been.......Is it good enough?" Minho asked adjusting his school tie. Jeongin reached out to offer help. "As always, sunbae is amazing." Minho rolled his eyes, "Stop being so flattery. I asked if it's good "enough."

"And my answer is that it is amazing."

"How sincere."

"No, seriously hyung. You are good at this. That's why you're main and I'm lead. I have a lot to learn from you." He said taking a step back taking a look at minho. "Great. You're good to go.". Minho placed one hand around jeongin's neck. "My pretty little dongsaeng..." He said ruffling his hair. The latter winced in distress. "Guys! Let's go get kimchi- jjigae....I'll pay." Bangchan called out from in front. "Ohhh....I want pajeon also." Jeongin pleaded. "Only if you catch up losers." He yelled from infront, leaping and sprinting away with the other members. Without a second thought jeongin sprinted away, leavng minho cackling silently. It was this life every teenager dreamed for. But they ruined it for themselves, making sunlight only a dream, a luxury.
