Evangeline Willows: has long slightly wavy dark brown hair and vibrant blue eyes. She is five foot four so she feels tiny compared to everyone else. She pushed herself in school so she could get away from her parents as soon as she could, graduating at 16. She has a passion for books and always dreamed of escaping into the realms of the stories to get away from the hardships she endured as a child. She is now 23 and is obsessed with Beauty and the Beast. Doesn't believe in love because of her parents. Demi fae but does not know it.

Edward Van Hise III: Also known as the Duke. Eve is not really sure what he did to get the wealth and status he had before he did, she never really saw a reason to ask him. She could barely remember him but what little she did, he was always very kind and welcoming to her. He seemed like he had all the knowledge in the world and answers to every question she would ask him. She remembered that she wanted to be like him when she grew up, if only she knew what that was. He had the same bright blue eyes as her and he was always sneaking her candy. She remembered him arguing with her father on the phone a lot but she couldn't remember why. He was older than her parents but not as old as Mr. Thomas. Every time she visited he would smile like he was about to tell her a secret and tell her that not everything was as it seemed and it was very important that she remember that fact. Duke knew that Evangeline was special from the moment he saw her. He tried to explain faes to Evangeline but later found out that her father had a spell put on her that if anyone tried to tell her about anything fae or fae-related it would be erased from her mind immediately.

Mr. Anthony Thomas: Duke's lawyer, mid 60s and has a ruthless reputation but when it comes to Evangeline he treats her like a granddaughter. He knows more than he lets on.
