They've been married for four months now and Ateş's wife was slowly going crazy. Every look, every crinkle of her forehead when she gave him her luminous smile–Ateş felt like he won the hardest, most grueling war every time she gifted him her smile.

"Ateş?" his sweet wife called out from their bedroom. "Is that you?" Ateş stopped walking towards their open bedroom door and just closed his eyes, letting her sweet voice wash over him–it felt like a balm on his restless soul.

Feraye didn't know the effect she had on him, she could never know.

He wasn't an idiot. He knew she loved the man she was with before him. Feraye was broken when he found her in the burning house, you don't become so broken for something that didn't mean the world to you.

No, Ateş wasn't an idiot. She would never feel for him what she felt for her past love. Maybe over time he could chisel into her guarded heart and carve out a little corner for himself. He would never force himself or his affections upon her, he wanted her to choose him because she wanted him, because she wanted to share her life with him.

"Ateş?" Ateş pulled himself from his thoughts as his wife called out for him once more. He walked into their bedroom and his eye fell onto his beautiful Feraye.

"Yes, my little wife," he gave her a little smile as he drank her in. She had changed into a modest baby blue silk nightgown that hugged her curves. His eyes caressed her beauty from the head down, his eyes stopping at the dip at the front of her gown, giving him a glimpse of her cleavage.

Fuck.

She wasn't wearing a bra. Ateş could see her nipples poking the soft fabric, the chill from the air was probably the culprit. It didn't cool him down though, no, he felt himself being lit on fire. His cock swelled in his black pants. He found himself eternally grateful that he still wore his full suit, his jacket covered the proof of his arousal many times since he first saw Feraye when he returned from America.

Ateş and Feraye hadn't consummated their marriage in the four months since they've signed the papers, they would never unless Feraye ever gave him the green light, to kiss her, to caress her, to make love to her... to fucking breathe her.

She turned away from him, bending down to fluff the pillow and Ateş caught sight of her plump ass.

He bit his lip, he could almost imagine he was biting down on her left cheek, no her right.

Ateş groaned aloud.

"Are you okay, Ateş?" She turned around so quickly to check his state that her breasts bounced. He clenched his fists and walked towards the sofa by the window to stand behind it, looking out at the moonless sky.

Quite fitting that the Night didn't have its lady Moon, nor could He behold his Moon like Ateş.

"I'm fine, just tired," he said to his wife. He was, he was so tired, but he would continue on in what they had for her, for the promise he made to her.

It will be a marriage in name only because she could not offer him more, nor did he ever tell her he would have wanted more. He could have long ago, but didn't, years ago when they were but children.

It wasn't right then and it wasn't right now.

Ateş' arousal abated with these morose thoughts. He went to change for bed in the adjoining bedroom. He came out, teeth freshly brushed and headed to the same sofa by the window, which had become his bed as she settled into the actual bed. Ateş and Feraye had not shared a bed once since their fateful day, but they did develop a type of camaraderie.

As they both settled in for the night, Feraye turned off the lamp by the bed, their only source of light.

"How was your day?" She whispered from the bed.

Ateş closed his eyes once again, basking in the warmth of her soft voice.

"It was a good day, I got a lot of things done that I didn't think I would have gotten to today." He said proudly into the darkness.

"Good!" she laughed, "I'm glad." A few moments passed.

"Your day, how was class?" He smiled.

She gave him another melodious laugh. "My day has been good! I gave my presentation and—"

A loud bang interrupted her words. The room was washed in the warm glow of the lamp.

Ateş found himself on the floor of the bedroom and looked to his side to see the sofa leaning sideways.

He took in the broken leg and turned to face his wife. "I guess I'm a little heavier than I thought, ay ışığı." They both smiled at each other.

"That sofa was old anyways." Feraye reached over to the other side of the bed and flipped the duvet over, inviting him in. "Come on, in you go."

Ateş hesitated. This would be the first time they would share a bed.

"Are you sure?"

She sighed, "yes, of course, now get in."

He got up off the floor and walked towards the bed—each step taking him closer to Feraye. Ateş got into the king sized bed and while they weren't touching, he was achingly aware of who was beside him.

"Goodnight, Ateş." She said as she turned off the light.

"Goodnight," he whispered.

This was going to be a long night.
