Ding Dong. Ding Dong!

A door chimes. A Saturday’s Night breeze that was caged outside rushed in to find a refuge and shiver a few bones of the guy with a boyish charm face like a boy next door behind the counter.

"You're lucky. We are about to close but welc...." His hoarse voice died down replaced by heavy breath escaping his lips.

A fresh waking up young woman managed to appear at his bakery half past midnight.

He didn’t know if the goose bumps hailing his body hair were because of the night cold that was biting his naked skin or because of the appearance of the woman that managed to awake something that was fast asleep.

Both ways, all the exhaustion was washed away and his energy replenished again.

Is this some kind of prank!? He thought out loud.

A cute screaming blush pink shorts shorts with black margins. Matching with a black singlet top, pink translucent robe with black margins both printed with red kissed lips wrapped mindlessly covered half of her body and other half is bare and pink bunny inside slippers. A professional cute messy bun on top of her head looking messily gorgeous framing her oval radiating face.

Doesn't she feel cold!?

A robe reached above her knees but the half wrapping exposed the little half of her body.

"Am lucky!?" A sleepy woman's voice asked stepping forward to the counter.

And she sounds like a dripping honey.

His cheeks warmed up. "Yeah... I mean..." He trailed his eyes quickly from her head to toe still not believing that this young woman wasn’t minding what she wears and she’s right in front of him.

"I- um- I always close at midnight and... You... You are here like a Disney princess... I mean I don't wanna sound creepy or anything but...you look….oh well"

"Am a Disney princess!?" She asked after a soft short yawn with her half closed eyes.

His rants paused, he scratched the back of his head deeply chuckling "I mean you look... I mean yeah."

A small lazily smile appeared on her face, rubbing her tired eyes. "Am lucky, hi sweet tooth."

His eyes widen "Oh, hi. I like the nickname sweet tooth. You know am baking and stuffs..." he said with a shrug

"No." She exclaimed and stretched herself, her top raised and exposed her tummy.

"No!?"

The guy’s eyes fell on her flat belly like a reflex and he quickly averted his gaze to her face then looked around like a guilty kid who stole a candy and looked if anyone saw him.

"Let's get you seated." He went to grab her shoulders and put her near the ordering table.

"Where am I!?" Asked the sleepyhead.

"Um..!?"

"Am cold." She whispered.

"Well... I was about to mention your attire..."

"Oh I remember." She grinned trying hard to be active cracking her neck up to the guy.

"Remember what!?" Asked the guy confusedly.

"You are cute guy next door, that's your nickname. Not sweet tooth" She squeaks up a little and rests her head at the table supported by her hands.

He pressed his lips in a thin line restraining from grinning like a madman but the tainted cherry on his cheeks betrayed him.

"I need a middle size one step chocolate cake." She murmurs.

"Oh you remember that!?" The cute guy chuckled still not recovered from the nickname given to him.

"Yeah and here is my card." Said after removing a card between a mountain on top of her head called hair.

She’s a bit weird. But a gorgeous kinda weird.

A card situated in hair!?

"Oh okay!?" He laughed taking the card from her hand and went behind the counter packing the cake whilst throwing random looks at the sleepy lady at the ordering table.

"Hmmm"

He heard a faint groan and looking at the known source, she turned her head to the door.

Who is this woman!?

Does she live here!?

Is she a celebrity!?

"Cute guy next door!?"

A whine interrupted him.

"Yeah!?" He smiled dreamily gazing at the woman.

His eyes widen. "Oh, am coming. Your cake is ready." He faked a cough swiping the card and grabbing a receipt.

"Here." He said tapping her shoulders to wake her up.

"Thanks." She muttered getting up.
Sliding her bank card back between her messy bun on top of her head.

"Um!?"

Is this a new trend- putting a bank card between hair locks!?

Grabbing her cake put on a box carrier.

"Okay!?" The cute guy next door uttered following her movements.

And she wobbly taking her leave left him standing like a Statue not believing what happened.

He snapped from it as she reached the door. "Welcome again a lucky waking up Disney princess!?" He called faintly with warm cheeks.

The name was strange and weird but the guy didn’t care as long as he would get more seconds to hear back her voice. Missing steps like a drunken sailor but she still managed to grab a door handle.

“Thanks” she said back.

"Dream about me okay!?" She proclaimed waving a box of cake without turning back.

"I definitely will" He gravelly murmured with a small smile.

And she was gone.

The guy was alone again. He missed the presence of the strange woman. It was the first time he saw her and he couldn’t get enough of her. He was still rooted in place.

“Close the place Cuthbert.” He told himself with a sad sigh and turned on his heel to do what he was supposed to do twenty minutes ago.

Still he was hoping to see the woman again.
