In this story vampires can use their eyes to compel you. Their bite can be pleasurable but it's not for the FL cause. The process of becoming a vamp entails the draining of the potential vamp and then feeding them the blood of the one changing them. The process is painful, because dying hurts. Vampires can have what is called a companion. It is usually a vamp that they make and keep as both a companion and lover. They form a bond through blood and time shared.
The werewolves in this story have fated mates or soul mates. If a wolf is mated to a human the human doesn't fully turn into a wolf. They do acquire some cool side effects but now wolfy forms. Their teeth will elongate, they heal a lot quicker, speed, and of course they are stronger then normies. In this story Peter is contacted with a mind link to his pack. I don't come out and say that in the story but that's what it is.
