The Inception

                                TW- Violence!

Beeep.. Beeeeep.. Beeee- I quickly wake up and hit my alarm clock. But it doesn't turn off, instead it just gets louder.
"Ughh.." I groan not wanting to get up, I fall back into my pillow, I grab it from under me and I cover my head with it trying to block out the sound, it doesn't work. Finally, I sit up and stare at my ceiling, I look over at the clock.

*7:45*

Do I have to go to school, it's not like anyone actually cares if I go or not. I roll my eyes then look down and see my kitten, Cheddar. He's an orange tabby with stripes across his tail and back.
"Oh.. hey buddy!" I say to him, leaning over to pet his head. "How come ya didn't wake me up..? You always do.." I ask as I get a weird feeling in my stomach, feels like something is sort-of.. off? I turn over and stand up, I walk over to the bathroom and get ready.
I grab the towel and wipe my dripping face, then walk out of the bathroom and walk downstairs. As I go down the stairs I see my sister watching tv on the couch.
"Hey.. Goodmornin'." I say to her as I walk over to the freezer to grab waffles.
"Hey.. mornin' have you seen the news yet?" She asks back to me worried.
"No..? Why, did something bad happen?"
"Uh.. Kinda yeah, come check it out" She responds, I grab the waffles then put them in the toaster, then I walk over to her. I sit next to her on the couch and watch.
"Yes, That's right, Half a dozen people have gone to the ER, they have all been reported to be extremely aggressive and dangerous.." The new lady says.
"Uhm.. Should we worry about that?!" I say to her worried.
"Nah, it's probably fine.." she says back to me trying to calm me down.
"oka-" I get cut off by the waffles popping up, I walk over to them and try to take them out but burn myself stupidly.
"OW!" I say as I grab them with my hands.
"You good?" She says to me,
"Yeah im fine, but I should probably go.. I can eat them on the way!" I say already putting on my shoes, beat-up black converse. As I walk out of the door Cheddar and Valina say goodbye to me.

I get to school after about 10 minutes, the air warm, but breezy. As I walk up to the building I sit down in the grass and wait near a sign that says 'Prairie View High School.'
    Finally after about 5 minutes I see Ally, sam then Joi running behind them.
"Hey yall'" I say.
"Hey Pook," Joi responds, shes a medium height girl with dark brown hair, almost black looking. Slightly tan-ish skin, and clear glasses.
"Hi!" Sam and Ally both say, they're twins, but not alike at all. Sam has medium length brown hair, her eyes are brown and her skin is pale but slightly tan. Meanwhile Ally has shoulder-length brown hair, with hazel-ish eyes and pale skin.
I sit up from the grass and brush off the dirt on my pants. I stand in between them, our bags brushing against each-other.
"So.. uh, did you see the news this morning..?" I ask them concerned.
"Uhh, no I don't think so?" Joi says. I turn to ask Ally and Sam,
"Of course not, what about you guys?"
"No.. Why? was There something bad?" Sam asks, now concerned as well.
"Well.. Uhm, it says there's a bunch of people going to the ER cause they're," I raise my hands to do air quotes, "aggressive."
"Oh.. Uhm, that's weird. Why? Did they say why they were aggressive?" Ally questions me.
"No.. Well, they said they were sick but I don't know. It was kinda creepy." I respond back to her. 
We all start to walk inside, the school air hits us immediately. Gross. We all make it to our lockers, which are all conveniently next to each-other.  I kick open my locker and put my backpack inside, taking out my binder and perfume. I spray it on myself, and towards them. They jerk back quickly.   I roll my eyes and chuckle then stand up and wait for them. As Ally and I lean against someone's locker waiting for Sam and Joi I see someone, not just anyone. But her, Ruby. The most beautiful girl in this whole school. She had dirty blonde hair, always up in a ponytail, with grey-ish blue eyes, and tan skin.
"Oh my god." I nudge Ally,
"W- what? Oh." Ally chuckles as she sees me fixing my hair and clothes. I step away from the locker to fix my outfit
"Do I look good?" I ask them.
"Yeah, you look fine." Sam responds, also chuckling. I lean against the locker trying to seem cool then as Ruby walks by us she looks at me and smiles. I immediately freeze up then turn to Ally.
"OH MY GOD! SHE LOO-" I cut myself off before Ruby could hear me. Ally just looks at me then laughs.
"Yeah cause she has eyes idiot." She responds. I roll my eyes then we all walk to our classes, splitting up. Joi and I have first period together so we continue walking. She wraps her hand around my shoulder and I put my arm around her waist. Finally we make it to first period, almost late. We walk in right when the bell rings.
