"MAKAAAA, IT HURTS!!!" Soul cried out.
"It's not my fault that you needed braces." Maka replied not looking up from her book.
"Could you please get me some Tylenol? It hurts so bad!"
Sighing, putting her book down, Maka got up and padded to the kitchen to get the medicine.
"Soul, what do you want to drink with it?" Maka called to the boy massaging his jaw.
"Can I have some tea?"
"We don't have anymore, Blaire drank it all."
"Ugh fine then, I'll have water. "
Soul frowned as he touched the silver wire that was slowly pulling on his teeth.
After pouring some water and getting to Tylenol, Maka slowly walked into the living room where Soul had been whining about his teeth.
"There." Maka said as she sat the glass of water and the pills on the coffee table, looking at Soul messing with his newly adjusted braces.
Soul slowly took the pills with a few swigs of water, making a face as the pills made their way to his stomach.
Soul's eyes watched Maka as she made her way back to her chair, sighing as she picked up her book, finding her place again.
She's so adorable when she sighs like that.
Soul thought to himself as she flipped the page, gasping at the words on the page.
"Okay Maka what happened?" Soul asked as she slammed her book on the coffee table.
"She died..." Maka whispered as she began to cry.
Soul's heart began to sink as he got up and went to the kitchen to get her favorite ice cream. This happens a lot when she reads books like that. After so many times that this happened, Soul got used to it.
She would find out something sad in the book, start to cry, and then drown her sadness in ice cream and watching her favorite anime.
Sighing as he got two spoons and the Cookie Dough Ice cream, he made his way across the room to hand her the ice cream and turn on the TV to Black Butler.
Makas head slowly rose as she felt soul sit beside her, putting his arm around her shoulders as he opened the ice cream.
"Soul?"
"Yeah?"
"I-I-"
"What?"
"I love you."
"I love you too, Bookworm."
"and Soul?"
"Yes?"
"I don't think you can eat that without hurting too your mouth..."
"UGH WHYYYYYYY?"
Maka giggled as she lifted her head and softly pressed her lips to his, quieting his whining.
It didn't take long before he kissed back. His tongue slid over her lip asking for enterance, she granted him access as he started to play with her ash blonde pig tails.
Fighting for dominance, which she lost, she pushed her fingers through his silky, snow white locks.
Pulling back, Soul smiled down at Maka, who was blushing at what she had just started.
"Does your mouth still hurt?"
"Not anymore."
Maka smiled as she booped his nose with her finger.
"So does this make us a couple?"
Soul chuckled as he looked down at his girlfriend now.
"Yes." He said as Maka got a spoonful of ice cream and started to make its way to her mouth when Soul took it in his mouth, grimacing in pain as the spoon hit his teeth.
"OWWWWWW!!!"
"That's what you get when you try to eat my ice cream." Maka giggles, looking up to see Soul frown as his tongue was going over his brackets to relieve the pain he just caused himself.
"You can be a dumb but sometimes... But I love you for it."
