i stared at the wall blankly while considering his request.

'is this person crazy?', i thought to myself.

Flashback (Jiyeon's POV)
"jiyeon, i will protect you.", dohoon said.

i blinked my eyes, what is he doing...

"do you trust me?", he asked. i nodded my head and replied, "yes of course, you're my brother's friend after all."

he went to sit down on a bench nearby, "sit down too. i have something to tell you." i followed his instruction and sat down beside him.

"jiyeon, i need your help. can you do a bit of acting?", he said. i was confused, "what acting?"

"i want to get the proof of the stalker stalking you. i will make sure that you won't get hurt. we will be quarrelling tomorrow before going back home. all you have to do is to slap me on the spot and go off on your own. then i will record a video of the guy following you, then we will be done. shinyu hyung will be waiting for you around 500m away from the campus.", he explained.

"i have to... slap you?", i asked and he nodded.

"i want this to end once and for all, i will make sure you don't get hurt. so will you do this favour for me?", he asked.

"g-give me some time to think...", i replied.

end of flashback

i sighed and went to find my brother, who's currently in the kitchen cooking for dinner.

"shinyu, are you done with cooking?", i asked. "almost, why? is our kid hungry already?" i shook my head, "nah, i just have something to discuss with you."

"about dohoon right?", he asked and i hummed as reply.

"i did think about it, im scared that this stalker will do something bad to you in the future. so if we can get the proof of him wanting to hurt you or stalking you, then we can get him into prison. i know this might be hard for you, but i promise you jiyeon. me and dohoon will be protecting you. all you have to do, is to act real hard, be immersed into the acting.", shinyu said.

"what if the guy hurts you too while trying to protect me? what if the guy ended up hurting dohoon instead?", i voiced out my worries.

he walked up to me with our plate of dinner. he put down and sat down, "jiyeon, dohoon will be safe. he is still in the campus area, the stalker won't hurt him unless he's dumb enough. and don't worry about me, if he hurts me, we will still get the proof and he will be able to be in jail right?"

i sighed, "but shinyu—"

he held onto my hands, "trust me, all of us will be safe. none of us will get hurt, hmm?"

i nodded, "okay hwan..."

it's the next day already.

me and dohoon walked out of the campus. he held onto my shoulders and spun me to face him, "jiyeon, let's break up."

"w-why? what's wrong with us? did i do something wrong? tell me oppa...", i said, acting desperate.

"there's nothing wrong with you, i just... fell for someone else instead.", he said. he gave me a glare and i knew what he meant, now.

i slapped him on the face, "how dare you... you're such a jerk. after what i did to you, you still love that woman instead of me?!" then i stomped away.

my heart was beating very fast, i didn't dare to turn my back. thinking that anytime, the stalker will be stalking me.

i pretended to shed tears, i even stopped walking for a while and squatted down. "i hate you...", i cried.

after a short while of sobbing, i stood up and wiped my tears away. "don't cry for that jerk, he isn't worth it, shin jiyeon, wake up.", i whispered to myself and started walking again.

i felt a presence of someone else at the back, tailing me. i gulped and thought to myself, 'shinyu is in the front, we are almost there.'

i pretended to look back a bit and paced up my speed. i wasn't paying attention but suddenly i bumped into someone and i got scared, "im sorry!"

the person hugged me, "it's your brother... don't worry... you're safe."

i looked up to the person, it's really shinyu. i hugged him back tighter and cried.

i wonder how is dohoon.

Dohoon's POV
the stalker is waking towards jiyeon now.

it's my calling.

i stood up and took my phone out, started recording. i followed him from a distance, being super careful to not get caught.

when jiyeon suddenly squatted down, the stalker hid to the corner. 'ah fuck.', i thought as i hid to the corner too. (a.n: not the same corner)

a while later when i walked out of the corner, they're gone. "fuck, hyung i lost him.", i said through call.

fyi, during the whole argument, i started a phone call and it was connected to shinyu hyung.

"okay.", he said it from another line and the phone call ended. i quickly ran to the only lane, not forgetting to continue the recording.

but then when i turned left, some pepper spray went into my eyes, "ah fuck—" my phone was threw on the floor and the person, probably the stalker, ran away.

"hyung!", i screamed. they're probably just nearby right?

Shinyu's POV
"hyung!", dohoon screamed.

me and jiyeon broke the hug as she wiped her tears away and said, "it's dohoon."

i took her hand and ran to where his scream came from. there he is, squatting down while covering his eyes with his hands.

jiyeon let my hand go and immediately went to dohoon, "yah kim dohoon are you okay?!" "hyung he ran away, to the direction of our campus.", he said.

i quickly ran to chase the guy.

but it was too late, he got in a car. wait... i recognised that person's car.
