What is happiness?
A feeling or emotion, they say?
It was something you were most unfamiliar with, that's for sure.
You have seen it often on the faces of others, but never on your own.
You have seen it illuminating your father's face when rewarded by the King, seen it gracing your stepmother's face upon receiving gifts from your father, and seen it adorning all three of your stepsisters' faces as they basked in affection from your supposed parents.
But never on your own.
Perhaps you would never feel or experience it in this lifetime.
Or ever.
"You want happiness? Find it with him then," were the last words your father uttered before he married you off to the cold and ruthless General Park Seonghwa.
And you do, you try your hardest to find it with him.
But no one told you the journey would be easy; you give it your all as you find the way to his heart.
