chapter: four

I stood here like frozen. I didn't know what to say..

,,Mom what-what are you doing here? I thought you were traveling?" I asked. I was scared of her, she looked...awful.

,,Oh sweetie, I was traveling with your dad, but then that fucking bastard fucked another woman! Some random slut! That fucking bitch ah!" she yelled. I stood there, looking at her with scared face.

,,W-what where is Minho and...what..."

,,Minho left while ago. He said he needs to do some homeworks in library. From when is this kid doing his homeworks..."

,,Mom will you still be traveling?" I can't live with her. I hope she will travel because...she's not the mom someone would want. She is selfish and she didn't even take care of me when I was a child.

,,I don't know. But until we will fill our divorce papers, I will be staying here. Isn't it great? We can spend so much time together!!" she smiled and I smelled the awful smell from her mouth.

,,Yeah..." I said before I ran into my room.

I slammed the door and started to cry. I need to get the fuck away from here. Maybe Minho doesn't hate her but I do and I won't be here until she leaves. I took my big bag and put some of my clothes into it. I packed my makeup and my favourite plushie. I waited until she was fully asleep-which didn't take too long since she was drunk. I grabbed my bag and ran out of this house. It was raining. Great. I started running. I didn't know where to go but I needed to go somewhere far away. It was dark already and the rain was stopping me from seeing very well. I looked down so the rain won't block my eyes. I ran into someone and fell. The someone helped me get on my legs. I started crying even more.

,,Y/n? Are you okay?" familiar voice asked me. I looked up. It was Bangchan.

,,Chan? What are you doing here?" I said between my sobs.

,,I was heading back home from dinner. I haven't had anything edible in my flat so I eated out. But what are you doing here?" I wasn't able to speak anymore, because of the crying. ,,You'll tell me after we reach home. Come on now." he grabbed my bag and put one of his arms around my shoulder.

We arrived and I changed into something warm. I stopped crying already. I was really tired and exhausted. Chan made me tea and covered me with one of his blankets. He sat down next to me and asked.

,,What happened Y/n.."

,,My mom is back home. My dad cheated on her. They are getting divorced. But I don't want to be under the same roof as her. She was rude at me or she even wasn't here at all! So I ran away."

,,Oh my god I am so sorry Y/n. You can talk to me if you want to and ofcourse-you can stay for how long do you need." he hugged me. I thanked him. We watched TV, when I suddenly felt my eyes being heavier and heavier...

CHAN'S POV-

The movie ended and I looked at Y/n. She was already asleep. Iam not surprised, since today was really exhausting for her. I grabbed her into my arms and took her into my bed. I covered her with blankets and gave her soft kiss on forehead. I went back to the living room and slept on the couch.

Y/N'S POV-

I've had those nightmares since childhood. They left me when my mother left. But they're back. I woke up by midnight from the worst nightmare ever. I started to tearing up. I couldn't fall asleep after that. I went to the living room. I layed down next to Chan and cuddled him. He did it back and I finally fell asleep.

In the morning I was so confused. I woke up with man's body hugging me. I replayed yesterday and I closed the eyes back, so he won't se I am up and he won't go away. I felt safe.

A minute after, my phone rang. It was Minho.

"Where did you sleep last night?" he asked. He was worried, I can hear it. I stood up and went to the kitchen.

"I ran away and slept in Bangchan's place. I didn't want to be with her." I answered. "Where did you sleep? Library was a bad excuse when you are sick."

"I slept at Jisung's, same reason. Will you go back home?"

"No." that was my last answer. I hung up, because Chan entered the room.

"Who was it?" he asked meanwhile rubbing his eyes.

I sighed. "Minho was just asking where I am and if I am coming home."

"And?" he looked at me, worried.

"Can I stay here until she leaves? I will find something else if not is ok-" I couldn't finish the sentence. Channie grabbed my chin and softly kissed me.

"Stay. Please." he said after that kiss. I nodded and smiled at him. We started cooking breakfast. It was early in the morning.

"So um..do you want to go to school?" Chan asked carefully.

"I don't think I can handle it but...you go." I said and bit my toast.

"Are you sure? I can stay here with you and take care of you. You must be very stressed."

"It's okay Channie. I will be okay. Are you sure I can stay here alone? Won't you mind?" I was worried that I broke into his personal space.

"It really is okay. I am glad you are safe now." he smiled at me. "Oh shit it's almost 8:15am. I will be late again. Okay so if someone rang, don't open the door. I'll be home today at 2:00pm. Please stay safe." he kissed my forehead, grabbed his keys and left.

Now I was left in this huge flat alone..what do I do?? I tried to call Minho but he's probably at school. I ended looking at TV all day and doing my homeworks.

Day passed by and now it was already past 2:00pm. Chan got back home.

"Hi princess." he smiled at me and I smiled back.

"From when are we using pet names Channie?" I giggled. I was wrapped in one of his blankets laying on the couch with book. He came to give me a little soft kiss.

"You don't like it sweetheart?" he sat next to me. I felt how my cheeks were turning red, so I covered them with my book. "So, what do you think about ramen and boba? I am really hungry since the last thing I ate was breakfast."

"Omg yes! I am carving boba so much!" I smiled and sat down.

"Can we count it like our second date?" he looked into my eyes and I can tell you guys his eyes are THE PRETTIEST.

"I would be glad!!!" I answered and sent him a kiss.

We got ready and sat into his car. After we parked in front of the boba shop, Chan helped me to get out of the car. I grabbed his hand and we got into the shop.

I ordered matcha milk tea with tapioca and Channie got grape ice tea with strawberry boba! It was so delicious!

"Thank you for treating me! I really appreciate it." I smiled at him and so did he.

"It must be hard for you now. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not at all...I am sorry Channie. I don't think I am prepared to talk about it..." I looked down on my boba.

"Hey, hey, hey.." he grabbed my chin, so I'll look into his eyes. "It's okay, you don't have to talk about it like right now. Take your time princess." I nodded and smiled at him.

After we finished our bobas and ramens, we headed back to the car.

"Wanna see my favourite place?" Chan asked and I nodded.
