Prologue

Reifansyah Yasa Wishaka is a man with orange hair and a slim body. He works as a police officer, and his position is Adjunct Police Commissioner. Reifan strongly upholds justice, he will even do anything for justice to be realised even if he has to sacrifice himself. However, despite his high position, he is not well-liked by his colleagues. Reifan is a young inspector who is still 27 years old, so naturally his colleagues feel rivaled. Not only that, sometimes Reifan was reckless and arbitrary when investigating a case.

One day Reifan received a case that he thought was very strange because the "perpetrator's" statement did not make sense. The case had also been closed because the 'perpetrator' had confessed.

"Let me re-investigate this case, sir," Reifan asked for permission. But the Chief Inspector refused.

"This case is closed, you don't need to investigate anything else. You will only cause problems," the Chief Inspector said.

Reifan was silent and returned to his office. "You'll make trouble," those words echoed in his head. Of course he did not take the insult lying down. Even though he wasn't allowed to, it didn't stop him. He continued to investigate the case in secret.

After examining the victim's body, he concluded that the victim died in his bedroom on Friday between 00:00 and 00:30. The victim's name was Oliver and he had three gunshot wounds, one in the forehead, one in the shoulder and one in the knee. The perpetrator is definitely not good with firearms, because a professional killer should immediately shoot once in the forehead. The room was so tightly sealed that there was almost no way out. But he knew that the perpetrators were not far from Oliver's closest people. According to the police, Oliver was a 30-year-old pharmacist, a kind and friendly person, with a sweet smile, and well known in the town. Oliver's workplace was not far from his home. Reifan decided to go there.

He met a woman called Zea who had worked with Oliver for 3 years. Reifan asked her about Oliver and his colleagues.

"Oliver is a good person, he is very kind to his juniors and seniors... I didn't expect someone like him to die so horribly," said Zea.

"What did he do before he died?" asked Reifan.

"Hm... as I recall, he was making a cure for cancer, but he never told me the process," Zea said.

Reifan got up, thanked her and left. The pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place, he thought. Reifan grew more and more excited as the case unfolded.

Arriving at the office, he asked the investigation team about Oliver's last location according to the GPS on his mobile phone. But not long after, Reifan decided to borrow Oliver's mobile phone for a while. The investigation team was hesitant at first, but since Reifan was also previously involved in Oliver's case, they agreed. Reifan thanked them and returned to his seat.

"What are you looking at?," came a voice behind him, which turned out to be one of his colleagues, Lewis. Reifan quickly switched off Oliver's mobile phone.

"Nothing, I'm just looking at a route," Reifan said. Lewis didn't believe him, and immediately took his mobile phone from Reifan's hand.

"This is Oliver's mobile phone. Why are you...", asked a confused Lewis. Reifan could only stay silent.

"Oi, don't tell me you want to cause trouble? The case is closed, why are you still investigating this case? I'm sure you're investigating this in secret, right?" said Lewis in a loud tone. "No, not yet," Reifan replied and continued.

"This whole thing is strange Lewis, the evidence looks very deliberate, and the "perpetrator's" statement don't make sense".

"It's just your feelings, nothing to think about," Lewis replied. Reifan was silent for a moment, then he replied again.
