and I live in a village next to the forest with my mom, Sara. I grew up exploring the forest with her and my friends. All was good until ......
My thirteenth birthday....where at the worst time! My mom decide to break some bad news to me...
"Hey sweetie I have something to tell you....is it the right time?' she asked.
"Oh yea sure!" I replied
"Hon I can't afford to take care of you here for longer unfortunately.....living in a village is really dificult and it's even near the forest! Who knows when we might stumble into danger! It's hard to earn money for living and repaying debts...."
"But this place is a huge chunk of my life mom! I can't leave just like that!"
"I'm sorry....I tried to prevent this from happening but now you have to go to the city to live with your dad and you know....live a normal life..."
"But I don't want to live a normal life! I'm totally happy with this one already and what will my dad think when I come into his house with Shaggy short hair and non formal way of life! Not to mention the fact I came from a village close the forest! Come on mom you know dad!"
"There is no choice....Emmy I don't want this to happen as much as you do but we have no choice....you have to leave in 2 days....I'm so sorry."
"It's fine mom."
I just looked down and well now that I know that these are my last few days in this place might as well make the most of it.......gotta make it last!
But
Two days went faster than anyone could blink
I packed my stuff and gave my mom one last hug before I went to say goodbye to my friends.
My friends were equally sad as me and mom were....some even cried
"Come on guys it's going to be good!" I assured
"How do you keep being able to think like that?" Said one of them literally sobbing like their life depended on it.
"I don't think...I know! You will find even more good friends! It's bound to happen!"
I said and waved goodbye as I headed to a somehow close by bus station...
I boarded to the bus
And just like that
I had left my old life behind.....
Every memory
Is left behind........
This is the start of my new life.....
And I'm not liking it so far.
