Lost

The sun was starting to set and the temperature was slowly dropping. Who knows, maybe something can creep up behind you? Even after a while, you haven't heard from Rian and the others.

"You know, being here with you is really something admirable," Lorenzo confessed. The two of you sat next to each other watching the sunset from a distance.

You chuckled.

"It really is nice isn't it?" you spoke. You felt yourself get cold by the moment. I think it was time that you changed into something rather more covering.

You reached for your backpack and grabbed some spare change of clothing.

"Hmm I think it's time we do something else '' Lorenzo suggested.

"Well I wonder where Rian ran off because I haven't heard from her in a while" you said with worry. After all, Rian was a good friend of yours.

"Oh her... I could care less" Lorenzo said like he doesn't give a fuck.

"You don't sound like you care about her" you asked Lorenzo why he was upset with Rian.

"Y/n... you saw everything, you know damn well that i'm still a bit upset with her" he said as he stood up.

"Let's forget about her for right now, let's enjoy our time without any interruptions" he said as he lent his hand out to you.

You held his hand and you could feel his grip onto your hand. Not too rough to hurt you but just enough so you felt secure.

You guys walked to a trail that led to a hill. Below the hill was a pond of some sort. Living organisms were surrounding the pond and the sounds of frogs croaking filled the atmosphere.

"Wow.. look at those frogs!" You pointed out as you sat down. Lorenzo sat down as well.

"Careful, there are some species of frogs that are venomous like the infamous poison dart frog. As pretty as the frog may seem, it's quite dangerous" Lorenzo warned.

"Wow.. pretty but deadly you could say" you noted.

Lorenzo chuckled.

"Pretty like you" Lorenzo commented as he shifted his hand towards yours looking into your eyes.

You were flabbergasted. Lorenzo had quite the rizz.

You blushed.

"Wow! That was smooth and I could say that i'm impressed!" You could feel your cheeks become warmer by the second.

His face lit up with enthusiasm.

"Well what could I say? You're quite the pretty girl" he spoke while intertwining his hand with yours.

"Anyways, Do you think these frogs are venomous?" You asked out of curiosity.

"No, they shouldn't be but we shouldnt interfere with them, this is their habitat" he noted.

As the two of you were enjoying some alone time in the wilderness, this moment, a Toucan came by sitting beside you.

You turned around and noticed the Toucan.

You smiled.

"Aww how cute" You commented. You tried to not be loud so that you won't scare it away.

"Toucans are such beautiful birds," Lorenzo said as he admired the bird.

The Toucan looked curious almost like it was looking for something.

Seconds later, it takes off flapping its wings flying off in the distance.
