Chapter 9: The Big Trap

A loud thud from upstairs woke me from my uneasy slumber. I rushed up the spiral stair case leading to my brothers room where Ori was sleeping; completely forgetting I was in my navy blue vest top and a pair of old grey jogging bottoms. As I reached the door it was slightly ajar. stumbling for the light switch (because knowing me I forgot that there was no electricity). I slapped my forehead with the palm of my hand for being so stupid, then ran into the room. But it was a false alarm 'cause Ori feel out of my brothers bed, I was really tempted to burst out laughing as he started to get up then finally saw me standing near the foot of the bed with my hands criss crossed over my mouth trying not to laugh. 

"I thought you were asleep?" his voice still captured by sleep. 

"I was but I woke up because I heard something; But it turned out it was just you falling out of bed-"

"Don't worry it's fine you can laugh I usually do when I fall out of my bed anyway." Ori cut me off then we both burst out laughing. Then a noise erupted from the front door down stairs, I screamed when something or someone burst through the door and once again it all went silent. The last thing I heard was Ori calling my name when I felt yet another sharp pinch in my neck then it all went dark.

Beck's POV

Alice was still in amazement mode when she walked through the front door, but the thing is though she didn't realise what I was doing.

Vincent Vamoof had a phone call around about two o'clock in the morning from an unknown number;

"Hello, who is this?"

"Hiya sir, it's Beck"

"Ah Beck, how is you're plan doing?"

"Very well actually sir, Roxxie and Ori have been captured and I'm trying to bring Alice to you."

"Well done. Bring Alice straight to the labs."

"Yes sir, see you in about five to ten minuets."

And then just like that the line was disconnected.

Beck's POV

I came up behind Alice, as she was still gawking at the inside of my family home. I was holding a syringe full of anaesthetic, but it this way there is enough in this syringe to knock out a fully grown male wrestler, then Alice turned around unexpectedly and I quickly hid the syringe behind my back being careful not to stab my self. "What's up with you?" Alice asked starting to get very suspicious.

"Nothing, everything is perfectly fine."

"Riiight."

Then I lead Alice to a guest room where she can sleep for the night.

******Time-skip******

Around about two in the morning, after my call to Vincent Vamoof, I stalked into the guest room with the syringe in hand. I got closer to the bed and slowly raised the needle to Alice's bear neck. Suddenly she jerked awake as if from a nightmare, at this point the needle was in her neck and broke off with about half of the anaesthetic now in her blood stream; then she collapsed once again back onto the bed and back into her girly dreams of castles, prince charming and princesses. but she has no idea of what nightmarish things await her and the other two.
