The Uchiha and the Immortal Cat

Chakra, Clans, and Jutsu

It was really hard to keep quiet. But I didn't want Keena and Itachi's mother to get creeped out. I was lost in thought, so I didn't notice the Bole containing a small piece of fish at first.

"Hay, Keena-Chan? What are we going to do about helping Binx?" I herd Itachi whisper as I looked up from eating my fish, I then listened in on there conversation, out of curiosity.

"Binx? Aren't you going to eat your fish?" I turned to see the younger boy, Looking at me curiously. I nodded and I lowered my head to Finnish the fish.

I was sitting at the foot of the kitchen counter, watching Mikoto clean the dishes. Her kindness reminded me so much of my own mother, and especially my younger sister, Emily.

"Oh, hello Binx. I didn't notice you there at first. What are you up to? Not interested in having you're fur scorched by fireball jutsus?" Mikoto asked, as I tilted my head in confusion.

"What is thee strange powers, Chakra and Jutsu? I asked, and Mikoto froze for a second before she regained her composure.

"Jutsu's are attacks that are made using chakra, there are five elemental chakra natures. Fire, wind, water, earth, and lightning." Mikoto said as I starred up at her with wide eyes.

"Y-you're not freaked out that I can talk?" I asked in shock, and the Uchiha woman laughed, she then picked me up, and she began to pet me, causing me to pure on instinct. Mikoto then spoke up once more.

"No, not really. The ninja of the elemental nations know a Jutsu called, the transformation Jutsu. It allows the person to transform into anything." I just nodded in response, I was so confused.

Itachi's POV

I awoke early as usual, Keena and Binx were awake as well. I quietly walked into Keena's room, and I entered to see my sister trying to teach Binx how to use a fire jutsu.

I held back an amused chuckle as I watched Binx, who was sitting calmly on the bed and he was watching carefully watching Keena. I assumed it was his instincts kicking in, but who knows, I could be wrong.

"What exactly are you two doing?" I asked, as Binx starred up at me with amusement shining in his eyes.

"Nothing Itachi, why does thee ask?" I blinked at Binx's strange word choice. "Is that an older version of the English language or something?" I asked as the cat rolled his eyes.

"I guess you could say that, thou are smart for one as young as thee." The cat said, and I just nodded and Keena blushed.

"Both of thee remind me a lot of thou own sister, Emily Binx." Binx said, and I tilted my head, while Keena stroked the cats head lovingly.

"So, what will thou be doing today?" Binx asked, I thought for a moment, then I replied a few seconds later.

"Well, we're going to train, but both Sasuke and Keena will be going to the ninja academy." I said, and the cat nodded.

Keena's POV

I skipped happily to the entrance of the Uchiha compound, with Sasuke following close behind me. I turned to see Binx, watching us through the window. we quickly walked into the compound, with bright smiles on our faces.

"You two seam excited, did something happen?" I turned to see Binx behind me. I nodded eagerly as I pulled the cat into an excited hug.

"I learned what my chakra nature elements are, fire, lightning and water. Isn't that great?" I said, as I spun Binx around, causing the cat to let out a surprised meow.

"That is exciting, what about you're younger brother, has he learned his chakra nature yet?" The cat asked, once I finally stopped spinning him around. I shook my my head and replied.

"No, Sasuke-Kun is only nine, we learn our chakra elements when we're eleven years old." The cat just tilted his head as I laughed quietly.

"So, Binx? I know this is a random question but... Is there anyone you like?" I asked, I know, I know, it was a weird question to be asking a cat.

"Well. I-I uh, her name's Dani. She is Max's younger sister." The cat replied, while he looked at his paws. I giggled and gave my answer. "You want to know who I like, Binx?" I asked, and he slowly nodded.

"Well, his name is Hyuga Jun, he's a member of the branch family." I replied, Binx just tilted his head in confusion.

Binx's POV

I just stared up at Keena in confusion. I then spoke up after a few moments of silence. "Branch Family? What's that?" I asked, Keena just gave a thoughtful look and replied.

"Well, it's kind of hard to explain, Binx. But the Hyuga clan is broken up into two houses, or family's, the Main Family and The Branch Family." She said, trying to explain it in simple terms. I was still confused.

"What about your clan?" I asked, and Keena giggled and shook her head. "The Uchiha? We're all one clan. Itachi, Sasuke and I are all the children of the clan head. Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto." She said, I just listened, I still didn't really understand, but it was interesting nonetheless.

"So... What exactly is chakra?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion, as I looked up at Keena, who stared at me with wide eyes. "Are you serious? You really don't know what chakra is, Binx?" I shook my head and she continued to stare at me for afew more seconds.

"Oh, my StarClan! This is going to take a while to explain. Are you sure you want to hear all of it?" Keena asked and I nodded my head in confirmation.

And Keena was right, the explanation took a while and by the time she had explained everything, it was already sunhigh. It was silent for some time and all I could do was stare wide-eyed at Keena, who stared back at me with a calm gaze.
