Prologue:

~ No One's POV ~
Menyi walks into the hospital with her new husband behind her. She got a phone call saying that her daughter was in the hospital. What she didn't expect to see was Shota. She makes a turn and walks into the room.

Toshiroto is standing next to his daughter. Menyi looks at him with a cold look. " Why are you here? " She asked. He sits down on the bed next to Jenyai and rubs Jenyai's back. " The nurse called me. Why is he here? " Toshiroto asked. " He's her stepdad. " She glares at him until the doctor comes in. " Hi, I'm Doctor Dai. " The doctor introduced herself. Menyi and Toshiroto nod their head.

" Okay, your daughter was brought to the ER an hour ago, and she was tested for rape. " The doctor said, opening the folder.

" Before I get to the results. Can the mother and her husband leave. " Dr. Dai smiled. Menyi and Finho left. She turns to Shota. " Mr. Yoshiromi, I would like for you to speak to the woman who brought your daughter to the hospital. " She said. He nods. She got up and walked to the other door in the room. A middle-aged woman walked in and stood next to Jenyai. " Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I was the one who brought Jenyai to the hospital. " She said. " Can you tell me what happened, please. " Toshiroto sits down in a chair. " Yes, I had just got off of work and went home. Before I walked in. I hear Jenyai telling Finho to stop and that it hurts, and then I hear a slapping noise. So, I walked over and opened the door. " Jennifer said, sitting down in a chair. " I walked through and went upstairs to her room. When I opened the door, I was shocked to see him on top of her while he was covering her mouth. I pushed him off of her and grabbed her in my arms and walked over to my car, and drove her here. " She finished.

Toshiroto is staring at the ground. " Thank you so much for telling me. " He stands up and walks over to Jenyai.

" You may leave, miss. Tell Mrs. Kizuma that she can come back. " She says. Jennifer nodded and walked out. As soon as Menyi walks in with Finho behind her. Toshiroto is glaring at him really hard.

" Okay, now I will get to the results. " Dr. Dai said, opening the envelope.

" What's the result? " Menyi asked. The doctor looks at her with a sad smile. Toshiroto knew what that meant. " Jenyai is positive for rape. " She gave the paper to Toshiroto. " I'm guessing you're her biological father? " She asked. He nods. " Yes, ma'am. " He answered. (He knows how to speak English as well, and Jenyai is black.)

" I didn't see your name on her birth certificate. " The doctor said. He hummed. " I wasn't informed that my ex-wife was pregnant at the time. " He answered. She hummed and gave him some discharge papers. " Here are her discharge papers. If you plan on taking her back with you. Notify me, and I'll transfer her medical records. " She smiled and left.

" I will. Thank you. " Toshiroto said, bowing.

Timeskip to the next day
~ Tishiroto's POV ~
The next day, Jenyai stayed with me at the hotel. Early in the morning, we went to her house, and right now, we are in Menyi's house. Packing her stuff up and bringing it out to my car. Jenyai is packing her clothes in a suitcase. " Baby, pack more than that. " I smiled and walked over and kissed her forehead.

She nods and puts more clothes in her suitcases, and then she closes them.

I grabbed it and put it in the rental car's trunk. I closed it after we packed everything. She got in the car, and then I was about to get in until.

Menyi pulls up and gets out of her car. She walks up to me. " Where do you think you are taking her? " She asked. " Back to Japan with me. She's not safe here with you anymore. " I opened the car door and got in. I closed it and locked all the doors. She walked over to the passenger side door and tried to open it.
