Purpled had never really been one to take Tommy out on dates.Usually Tommy planned them and took him out.
But on their anniversary, Purpled decided to take Tommy on a special date. He spent the morning preparing, carefully selecting a romantic outfit and gathering all the ingredients for a picnic lunch. He even painted a beautiful picture of the two of them, which he planned to give to Tommy as a surprise.Purpled never thought he was a good artist but Tommy thought he was.
When everything was ready, Purpled set off to find Tommy. He found him sitting on a bench behind the back of the house, lost in thought as he gazed at the swaying trees.
'Tommy,' Purpled said, gently touching his shoulder. 'I have a surprise for you.'
Tommy looked up and smiled, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. 'What is it?'
Purpled took Tommy's hand and led him to a nearby park with noone there, which purpled had spread out a blanket beneath a shady tree. He presented Tommy with the picnic lunch he had prepared, filled with all of Tommy's favorite foods.
As they ate, Purpled told Tommy all about the picture he had painted, "Tommy I love and cherish you so much ". Tommy listened with a smile on his face, his heart beating with love for Purpled.
When they had finished eating, Purpled pulled the painted picture out of his bag and handed it to Tommy. Tommy gasped in amazement,as he looked at the beautiful scene, capturing the love and happiness that the two men shared.
'Purp, this is amazing,' Tommy said, his eyes filled with tears. 'I appreciate you so much.'
They then spent the rest of the day sitting in the warm sunshine, holding hands and telling each other made up storys. It was a perfect date, filled with love and laughter and the beauty of the world around them.
And as they walked home together, arm in arm,they smiled and talked.When they finally arrived home they walked upstairs to their bedroom.They continued talking about made up storys ,and as they laid in bed they knew that their love would last forever.
