??? POV:

???: "I'm back, Mentor. What are you going to give me this time?" I yell out into my Underworld.

Mentor: "I know you're here, brat. I'm right behind you," he says behind me. I turn around to see my (E/C) eyes with red pupils instead of the normal black. "I will complete your form set and give you more basic spells," he says, lifting his hands to show me new rings. In one hand is a red ring and a blue ring, both similar to the green and yellow ones that I already have. "You already have Land and Hurricane, I gave them to you earlier because I thought you would need them, and it seems I was right. You will need these in the future. Flame is an all-around form great for when you don't know your aponents. Water is a more flexible form, capable of countering fast and agile aponents. Land is the strength form, good against flexible aponents. And Hurricane is fast, good for aponents that focus on strength, but can be used to get an equal footing against flying aponents," he explains my forms to me as if there were a strategy to them. In his other hand was spell rings. "Liquid will turn your body to water when someone tries to touch you. This ring can only be used when you are in your water form. Drill allows you to dive underground in your Land form. Defend puts a barrier in between you and an attack," he says.

???: "Thank you, Mentor," I say, taking the rings.

Mentor: "That is not all." He says, pulling out more rings. "Extend will stretch a part of your body beyond reason to do what you want. Big will grow a part of your body for more strength or to catch someone. Excite will buff you, for lack of a better word," he says, looking away from me at the last sentence.

???: "Thank you, Mentor," I say, taking the rings.

Mentor: "And a piece of advice, (Y/N). Hope isn't always mad. Hope tries to make others happy," he says cryptically.

(Y/N): "Yes, Mentor," I say, not fully understanding the meaning of his words.

TIME SKIP; 3RD POV:

???: "Welcome to the finals for our Kidz+ competition, where today one lucky winner will be announced as our brand new Kidz+ weather girl" announces a host as two girls step out of a limo as people chant their names. One is a dark blue haired timid girl wearing a blue sweatshirt, with pink flowers on the front, and white casual pants. The other is a seemingly bright blonde wearing a blue with yellow spots, sundress holding a parasol. "We started out with five thousand contestants, but with the help of our audience at home, we whittled our talent down to just these two amazing young ladies. So let's welcome our fantastic finalist." He says as the girls stand either side of him. "To my right Aurore Boréale," he introduces the blonde. "And to my left Mireille Caquet," he introduces the timid girl. "Who will be the lucky winner? Vote now, type 1 for Aurore and 2 for Mireille. And remember, standard text message apply," he says as everyone takes out their phones.

TIME SKIP; (Y/N) POV:

???: "This is the moment we've been waiting for. The viewers at home have made their decision, and the new Kidz+ weather girl is Mireille," he announces as cheering starts. "Man, she crushed you," he says to my sis like she didn't already know it. As soon as I hear that, I get my extend ring and use it behind me. I get my hand behind the host without anyone noticing. "HEY," he yelps when I smack him upside the head. He turns around just to get my fingers in his eyes. As he's backing up from the pain of having stuff go in both your eyes, I pull sis to the side of the bleachers and signal for her to wait there. After retracting my arm, I walk over to her.

(Y/N): "Hey sis, did you like my trick?" I call out to her.

Aurore: "That was you, bro?" she asks completely surprised that I could do it. I hold up my right hand, with the palm facing me, with my extend ring still on my finger.
