You opened the back door, the cold breeze hitting your skin. You needed a break from the loneliness of life. You ran out of the yard and headed towards your nearby gas station. 'Ding!'
The glass door slid open, the fluorescent lights greeting your eyes. You walked in and picked out a can of F/D, and a bag of F/CH. Your hands filled your pockets as you walked up to the cashier. "Shit..." You left your wallet at home! "Uhm.. Heh..." Sweat beaded on your forehead as you stared awkwardly at the man behind the counter. "Hey... Don't worry babe. You can pay... Another way...~" The man said creepily. Your eyes widened at his comment. "Hey! Back off dude! I'll pay." You got startled and looked to your side, where the voice came from. A tall guy in an oversized navy blue hoodie stood. "You don't have t-" "No." He interrupted and handed the man behind the counter 10 bucks. "Anywhizzle! Mind if I join you on this fine night Hermosa?" He looked down at you, waiting for an answer. "Uh... Yeah sure." You began walking out the door, snacks in hand.
