I've always been the one who comes in between people
they've known each other since school hasn't even started yet
they live in the same part of the town
they have the same sense of style
they've always managed to have the same day off

and I'm just someone in between
when one of them isn't available
when one of them couldn't be there
when one of them wouldn't wanna bother the other
when they're too busy with their world
when they're tired of each other
I'm in between

when one is mad at the other one
when one is bitching about the other one
I'm in between

I'm the last one to know about anything
I'm the last one to be asked when everyone has already agreed
I'm the last choice to be included in any event
I'm in between

I figured
I will always be the one who comes in between some friends but never be needed as much
